I still have my knock off ego. But I need new attys and some new juice. I am also going to get my in laws an ecig and some extra parts and such. So... I was looking into getting an ego c or t. What is the difference? They look pretty much the same. They are both tank type systems right?

My feeling is this will be a lot easier for all to handle. My husband burns out attys and so does his parents. The problem adding e juice all the time is too hard for them. So I think... tank. Right? Sounds good to me. So I think I will be buying like 3 new kits to get things going. But I am having a hard time knowing the how and why. Ego tank system through madvaper is on sale. BUT the tank vision kit... and the clearomiser kit look good too. Why are these different kits? Are they really that different?

I dont know about the t but the ego c has a tank with about a 1.5 ml capacity. that is not much if the folk are heavy smokers or vapers.
a vivi nova tank hold about 6 ml or the mini 2.5. they are very easy to use an maintain. Periodic cleaning and replace the head every month or so is all you have to do. Filling is easy too. Just unscrew the head and drop the juice down the side of the tank.
clearomizers are very different from the c. the c uses a special atty and though it works well it does have to be replaced every now and again. how often will depend on what kind of juice they use. dark juices will gum it up faster. The atty is seperate from the tank.
The vivi nova and other clearomizers have the atty built in.
On the vivi nova you replace the atty and wick in one unit called "the head". some clearomizer are not rebuildable though and you just throw it out and get a new one. I dont use this kind but I believe the startdust (ce2) is this way.
Tossable clearomizer can actually be a good solution for people who want more capacity but dont want to mess with the equipment. the main point would be to make sure you are well stocked so that you never have an "emergency".

My preference is for the vivi nova - the head is about 3 bucks and with regular cleaning lasts anywhere from 1 month to 2. You just unscrew the head and screw on another one. cleaning is super easy too - every few tankfulls simply disassemble the tank and drop the head in denture cleaner to soak over night. Rinse, dry with a paper towel and assemble the tank (all the pieces screw together just like a jar).

finally - for convenience plain old cartomizers are a great option. they are very easy to fill with the condom method and after filling 6 or so times you just toss it out.
I have been using cartomizers for the past few days and I have been using 4 standard cartomizers a day. Filling really takes just a couple of minutes to fill all 4.

The condom method is the absolutely easiest method ever for filling. Just save the rubber cap that comes with the cartomizer and fill it about 1/2 to 3/4 full of juice. Now press the cartomizer very slowly into the cap full of juice from the battery end (the mouth piece will be pointed up). magically the juice will wick into the cartomizer (with gentle pressure) and its full. wipe off the end and use it. anyone can do it. anyone at all.

HI mariahpoo,
I quit smoking using both the Joyetech ego-c and ego-t. I would pick the ego-c, but knowing what I know now, I would chose a kit with clearomizers. You can get 2 Joyetech variable voltage -twists- 1000mah with 2 Vision 2.0 replacable heads, charger and case for $71. Or, the Joyetech upgrade batteries -two voltages- 1000mah with 4 Vision clearomizers with nonreplaceable heads for 50 something.

Also there is a nice Kgo kit for $43 at Welcome to hoosier ecig supply - The Best E-cigs, Juices, and accesories
Good luck
