I purchased the pico 6 weeks ago and it has been great! Until tonight that is! It won't turn on at all! I tried pushing the fire button 5 times and nothing. I tried pushing the fire button and the down button at the same time and still nothing. Please help!
I got two Pico mods when they first came out. Both are still working flawlessly.

1. Did yoy drop it one or multiple times?
2. What wattage were you using. I do 8-10 watts on mg kayfun. I do 12.5-15 watts with a tank that uses premade coils.
3. Did you recharge the battery inside the mod? I always use a dedicated charger.
4. Did you upgrade the firmware?

If you are pushing massive watts or recharging the battery in the mod you may have cooked the board. Droping the mod a wire may have come loose or fractured the board.

for an extra $15 you can get a new pico from FT. Hardly seems worth the hassle and its a cloned board it seems..
very true, BUT where's the fun in that lol!? it is a cloned board but judging by the reviews i'd say it's at least worth the 10 smackeroonies to try out. besides, nothing beats the feeling of fixing something yourself! just sayin.

Buy a mod with a proven chipset , YiHi or an Evolve DNA if you want ultimate reliability. You do get what you pay for .

I am using the same mods that i bought well over two years ago , no issues ever , just my opinion.

I've had both Yihi and Evolv boards crap out on me.

I have covered something similar to this. If you updated the firmware or went to update the logo and failed to finish the update, This will brick the mod temporarily until you finish flashing the logo or firmware update. (whichever one wasn't finished.) The post in which I showed how to brick the device by doing this, and how to fix it after it was bricked is found in this post.
