I have some 3200 mah 18650's that work fine and last a day or better. I noticed that all of my Itaste devices tend to shut off randomly... mainly due to them using only three pushes to shut off. If there is not consistant contact each time it happens. Overall I am still happy with their products though

Okay, figured out the problem!

There is nothing wrong with my 134. The issue is pressing the fire button. You must firmly push the button. What I discovered last night was I was not pushing firmly and the green switch light would flicker. Once it flickered three times, the 134 shut off! I was able to replicate this as many times as I wanted....I just had to push the button softly like I do all of my other E-cigs! It has not shut off since I began pressing firmly on the fire button!

That's nice to know. I've had mine only a few days but haven't experienced this problem (yet). It's been over a week since we heard from anyone that was having these problems. I'm wondering if they got it cleared up?

best regards, larry mac

I just sent the below e-mail to Innokin. Their e-mail address is: support@innokin.com

Please.....to all who are experiencing this issue send an e-mail to Innokin to report the same issue! Maybe they will help if many complaints are sent to them? This thing is not cheap! Innokin needs to make this right for all of us!

Dear Innokin:

I just purchased an iTaste 134 and am having an issue with it. It is silver.

The issue is the fact that it turns itself off. I may get 10-12 hits on it then it shuts itself off. I have to push the button 3 times to turn it back on.

This is my second 134. My first one did the exact same thing so I returned it to the vendor. The replacement 134 is doing the exact same thing! This is two 134's with identical issues.

I also have a black 134 and it is perfect....no issues whatsoever.

I am not the only person experiencing this issue. There are many people on the Electronic Cigarette Forum who are complaining of the exact same issue. Here are links to these conversations:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/467516-itaste-134-issues.html?

and

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ng-weird-wrong-battery-bad-mod-confussed.html

I do not want to go back to my vendor as they are very small and should not have to mess with another return. It seems like this is the issue with most people who have purchased a 134.

Please help me.

Rob Robinson

I had an issue that may be unique. Mine was showing red warning lights with just a few hours of usage (2-3 hrs). What I did find was the top screws were loosening up including the rods. I was reluctant at first to tighten all the rods, but I hate to mail it back to the vendor because I drilled out the blank top plate hole above the switch for a lanyard. I'm pretty sure they will void the warranty as soon as they see the added hole. I'm not sure why it was doing that. It may be cause by high resistance to the head even though it has a ground return wire soldered to the head. I just hope it doesn't happen again.

Is anyone else having these issues????

No. I think the button is very sensitive. Had this been a 5 click... I doubt this would be an issue. I did notice the same thing... had the same initial reaction. Then I realized that you just ... sort of get used to it? Sounds lame I know. But you get a "feel" for the 134 switch... Coming from an Evic ... I too had "issues" But it is definitely the switch.

I'm really sorry for not correcting my stupid mistake soon. While I was messing with it tightening the screws I inadvertently switch the power (watt) selector on in-between settings. I didn't learn about it until I watched PBrusardo's review on the 134. The red light will be activated if the selector is not set on the detent. The manual even stated that. Dah, read the manual, Lol..

I have the svd, Atr and 134 and many other mods. I have many high drain 18650s Aw, Esst, Panasonic 10A. This is a design flaw and should be recalled. So is someone saying I should press the button a certain way to reduce this happening?? I was just getting ready to return it for an exchange. Does this happen to the majority of 134s. My svd, or Atr never does this

My 134 was one of my first PV's it,s a Rock no problems what so ever I use cheap Sigelei batteries Sony flat tops any thing works in it
I would never bring it out of the house because it,s so big but at home I use it all the time :)

I know these are older posts, but I am trying to justify this purchase hoping you can chime in with your opinions.

I currently have the Innokin family...MVP, SVD & VTR...does anyone actually use their 134 or was it the allure of the look? No offense meant

So what I've learned is the 134 does a quick 1 second test to determine the Ohm, then fires up full force. What I've noticed if my finger slips or I double click it during this time, the green light flashes 3 times and shuts off. Once I got used to the 134 it's a champ. ESPECIALLY since the weight of it balances out heavy tanks e.g. iClear 30, Pro Tank I or II. I have to say the 134 feels more ergonomically correct than any other mods. Having always had my eVic always set on VW, this mod just makes sense.

This is exactly my same experience - the button is butter smooth making it very easy to do.

The button on the MVP 2 takes allot of force so this would never happen.
