I purchased a new mvp 2.0 and there is a problem with it. It wont charge over 4.2 v. All the reviews say that outa full charge it must show 4.2v , but mine shows 4.1 The battery life is ok tho, from a full charge i get around 600 puffs on my protank 3 dual coil 2.0 ohms.
Could the battery be faulty or 4.1v is ok?
right firstly 4.2 is the max charge a mvp will take secondly twin coil eat juice and battery life if you want to make it last longer get a protank 1 or 2 rebuild with cotton loads of vapor and not eating juice or battery i chain vape and my mvp with this set up lasts me over 2 days

I have 2 MVP2s. Both get great battery life, and both only charge to 4.1v. I have never checked either one immediately after charging, though. I always seem to get to about puff 30 before I remember to look.

I would not worry about not seeing 4.2v.

Mine goes from 4.2V to 4.1V within the first 10-15 puffs, but it stays at 4.1V to around the 130 mark. I don't hit 3.8V until the end of day 2, usually. Even then it will go almost the entire next day at 3.8V. The fact that it never gets to 4.2V would bother me. But I'm a little too OCD about my things.

Not anything to worry about IMO, if your not loosing battery life then I wouldnt worry about it. I have had mine for over 8 months, MVPs are great.

My biggest issue and from what I see online about the MVPs are the Treads on the 510, be very careful they are soft, much softer than say SS treads on most attys. I think they are coated copper or brass and so they will strip out and if you drop your mod a lot it can bend the whole connection at the atty and then again nothing will thread on. Im in talks now to get it repaired via third party, a new steel flush mounted 510 will be nice!

Again I think your MVP is fine, enjoy it but if you are still truly concerned return it for a new one to ease your mind.
