itaste MVP v2 battery charging

I have had my new itaste MVP v2 for a few days and when I first charged it , it displayed 5v when fully charged , but now it won't charge beyond 4.2v . is this normal or is it faulty, ?

5 volts? Not trying to be a douche but is there a chance you pressed only the "U" button instead of both of the buttons?

I'm still learning about the battery display myself...wish I could be of more help :/

4.2v is the max charge on it. It is possible that you help down the U button to show the voltage setting by accident.

4.2v is the normal reading for a full charge, and 3.1 is about dead.

Off topic but I've had my MVP2 for four days, it came fully charged and I've taken 946 puffs total. The battery is only down to 3.7 volts! This thing is going to take me a week to kill at this rate!

Has anyone else noticed how many puffs they get from fully charged to dead?

Depending on resistance, I am at about 750. Yes I actually used the counter.
