It's a rock solid device. I think you will really enjoy having the option of variable voltage and wattage, as well as the increased battery life. It might take you a little time to get used to the feel and weight of the MVP in your hand.

If you can wait, Innokin will be releasing the version 3.0 within the next month, so you may want to wait. You may find that you will like the 3.0, as it will have more features and better ergonomics, or at the very least, you can get a 2.0 priced for clearance. Either way, you will win. :)

Here is the main thread on the new 3.0 - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...1563-new-info-upcoming-innokin-mvp-3-0-a.html

Well it's the only thing I've ever used so I can't compare but I've been using it non stop for 2 months and I think it's Awesome! It has never let me down and with heavy vaping the battery lasts me 2 days. I like the box style, it won't roll off the table and I don't have to roll it around in my hand looking for the button. I use a Nautilus Mini and the flavor and vapor is great! I keep looking at higher wattage mods but then stop myself and say "this thing works great, why do I need more power". I'm sure I'll get more power but I'll always like my MVP.

How long does the built in battery last? and how do you replace it?

The charge will last more than twice as long as what you are used to with the KGO, as the battery is 2600 mah.

As for longevity, there are plenty of people still using theirs since the launch date, which was well over a year ago. Heck, there are people who are still happily using their MVP 1.0, which was released ~2 years ago.

The internal battery is not meant to be replaceable, unless you know what you are doing with electronics and a soldering iron.

Mine still works after 14 months, even after my brother left it in a dew soaked yard overnight after a tussle.

    I'm with Spaceballs on this.

But, while I wait for the 3.0, I would not hesitate to get another one from Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0 - 101 Vape for 39.99.

Not sure what the price point on the new version will be when it first comes out.

If I vape on 3.7 volts, will it automatically switch the wattage and vise versa?

What I have been told is when on volts as the battery discharges the voltage will drop off but when on wattage as the battery discharges the wattage will stay constant.
I alway leave mine on wattage and have never experienced any decrease in performance. The last hit before the battery dies is as good as the first hit after a recharge.
I guess i should put it on voltage some time just to see if it is different but it works so good on wattage that I have never even thought about changing it.

I got my MVP 2.0 a couple weeks ago and I use it alot. It vapes great and the battery easily goes 2 days before a recharge. The downside is the size and weight. Its too heavy to carry in a shirt pocket and I'm afraid to put it in my pants pocket for fear of breaking the tank off. Because of this I usually take mt Evod to work with me, but when I'm at home the MVP is my weapon of choice.

It retains the volts until its ready to recharge.

No. The wattage and voltage settings are independent of each other on the MVP. Changing one does not automatically change the other.
Actually yeah it does.. The settings aren't independent its either one or the other. You pick either volts or watts and using Ohms law, the MVP automatically adjusts the other setting based on the resistance of the atomizer. This is why you can make it put out 12.5 watts with the right coil at 5 volts..

Crashhat, you can either get BDC (bottom dual coils) or the BVC (bottom vertical - single - coil.) When I got my Nautis, I tried the BDC (1.6ohm) and it was not bad for me, even though just about everything I read dissed the BDCs. I have since bought the BVCs (1.8ohms) and they're good for me too. I have 3 MVPs and use them as my "commuting" rig. I've had to take some roadtrips for work over the past few months, and I love that I can stick it on my phone charger in my car and not worry about running out of power. I have a couple of tube mods for use at home, but I've been VERY happy with the MVP2.

(I'll run my Nautis around 10-11W on the MVP, but I can go higher on my tubes because they have the capability.)

I think you misunderstood what spaceballs was saying and the MVP 2 will not put out 12.5 watts.
