The MVP 2 and tank is my back-up device love it. I found this spectacular leather case from SillyNilly on etsy. https://www.etsy.com/shop/SillyNilly?ref=related-shop-0

It is custom handmade and a few dollars of your $$ go to vape for vets. I could not be happier with my case and it was $38.

I've seen them before Ace, but thank you. I was unaware that they donated to VfV. Knowing that now, I am more inclined to go that direction. Do you know if they can put a belt loop on them? Or would that be no good? I don't know how tight the leather fits.

I can also highly recommend SillyNilly. I have a case she made on my MVP. It fits nice and tight, and protects my side buttons pretty well. Looks and smells nice, too. I think she's pretty open to doing custom stuff, and could probably put a belt clip on the back if you asked her to. There are other cases out there online, but IMO hers are pretty unique and quality. Before I found her site, I was considering DIY-ing, because I wanted a leather wrap and couldn't find one I liked, but I came to the conclusion that by the time I bought all the stuff to make it, then sat down and spent the time making it, I could have one of SillyNilly's paid for and in my hand with money left over for juice. :D
ETA: the sleeve is tight and designed to stay on the device all the time, so a belt loop that is closed wouldn't work, but a clip (like for a cell phone) probably would.

Sorry for the delay response! I didn't follow this thread. Anyway, the etasy skin fits like a glove. For me the MVP looked too mechanical and the skin made it mine. Know what I mean? I read your post again and I have another idea if you want a truly DIY?

Do you have one of those desktop inkjet printers? Like a nice EPSON or something? If so, I used to work for a company that made these vinyl stickers you could print on a desktop printer. The thing about these is the print quality is fantastic, and the vinyl is very high quality. I don't have anymore laying around or I would send a few over.

Printable iPod Skins - iaPeel That is the company that retails them now. Not sure if they are made in the US of the high quality we did.

I am sure an 8.5"x11" would be more then enough to wrap an MVP.

What I would do is design something custom print them, and then use clear contact film for the top. Like a clear vinyl used to top shelving. This would make it bullet proof. Definitely DIY!!
