Hi guys. Im new to the forum and just had a question about the iclear 30 and the mvp. On my mvp i cant go above 9w withought getting a burnt taste. Any ideas? Also even on lower settings (i run it at 8.5w) i cant really get more than 3 puffs in withough getting a burnt taste. Then i have to sit and wait awhile and tilt and turn it in order to get flavor and no burnt taste when i puff again. Any help would be greatly appriciated. :)

if you're just trying to get bigger hits, it might be a good idea to put the wattage down to ~5w and just crank the voltage up to like 5 or 6. also, your coil might just be out of life.

I was told that the wattage and voltage worked independantly of eachother. Its either on wattage or voltage. What ever you clicked last. Turning it down could work i guess but i like the throat hit from high watt. And could the coil/carto/what ever is in this thing lol. Be dead already? Ive only had it for about 1 week and have gone through 3/4 of a big bottle of juice.

I'm here, when I'm here
I've had mine for several months and run a 50/50 blend of a, somewhat, sweeter liquid. 2.0 ohm coils and set on about 4.1 - 4.3v. Haven't had a problem and a coil will last around 2+ weeks. And yes, when the tank gets low, around a little less than 1/2, you have twirl the tank or top off.

Happy Vaping!! :vapor:

(That reminds me. I need to order more coils! :D)

I also got the MVP 2 with the free iClear 30. I was very disappointed with the iClear 30 as so many people raved about it. It seemed to me that the flavor of the juice was very muted and weak when I tried to use it, no matter what wattage I used on the MVP 2.

I have a whole bunch of Evod clearomizers that I used with my ego and Vision Spinners. I've found that they work perfectly on my MVP, and that's what I'm using. They give me good flavor and quite a bit of vapor. I already have them, they are inexpensive and easy to find online, and the coils are also inexpensive. What's not to like?

I'm going to give the iClear 30 to someone who might really like it, as I do not.

I usually keep my MVP set at 7.5 and don't change it around much.

Ya i found the same. The iclear 30 had amazing taste at first but now its kinda dulled down. I have an evod clearomizer as well and the taste on that is superb. They only thing i dont like about the evod clearomizer is i find i have to shake it after a couple puffs to get air bubbles out of the coil or i get a burnt taste. It the coil doesnt seem to wick very well.

I also I got IClear 30 with my MVP 2.0 kit....it was okay...I didn't care for it because of air draw and with certain juices, the flavor was muted versus even Kanger PT2, etc..
I really advise you to try other toppers to experience a good vape with MVP.

I recommend Innokin 30s it want to stick with Innokin series, cheapest is Fasttech, and they state authentic, which usually means for Fasttech it's legit.

Also, you can get the Nautilus , but that isn't cheap. Later on when you feel more comfortable, you can try rebuildables like Kayfun series. I have used several with my MVP 2.0.

Good luck

Buy an Iclear 30s. 'Nuff said. And just to stir the pot a bit, I defy anyone to name a better top coil clearo than the Iclear 30s. I will also add that it is better than most BCC's, unless you are building your own coils. It doesn't leak. It doesn't give dry hits. It doesn't give burnt hits. You don't have to tilt it to saturate the wicks. It produces tons of vapor. The coils last longer than anything else out there now. The flavor is great. *ducks and runs*

I like Kangertech products... but, someone already said that. - Evods, protanks etc..

I have 2 Mvp's ... first one I have came with Iclear 30 like yours.. and one I got from Fasttech came with two 1-clear 16's ... ugh for all 3... I guess I just have to mess around with them more and give them more attention...

I also think I got spoiled on bottom coils.

No other suggestions related to clearo's ... but... I do have another MVP recommendation and that is - to get a skin for it? ... like I said, I have 2 MVPs- one has a textured skin (black mamba) ... and the other has the stock finish. I find the stock finish slippery and have dropped it twice in a week -- maybe cause I am used to the skin on the other one? I dunno....plus it looks better :) just my 2 cents.

-- P.S -- I just re-wicked 11 kangertec coils today - at a cost of .04 per coil --(fastech premade wicks).. these coils work in both the Evods and the protank 2 ... no leaks, no flooding, no issues.... taste great

No need to duck! All of these differences of opinion among us are just part of the wonderful adventure called vaping.:) It would be so boring if we all liked the same things.:D

I agree about the skins/wraps for the MVP. Mine came with a lovely packet of 12 vinyl wraps in all kinds of colors and patterns. They were super simple to put on and they look great. They aren't really "adhesive" like contact paper, so there is no residue if you want to take them off and change them.

I really like the feel of them in my hand, and also, it's still cold in Oklahoma, and they are much more pleasant than cold metal.

If you have run a dark juice in your iclear 30 the wicks will plug and give drier or burnt hits as will most attys.

Ahh yeah that makes sense. I started vaping a few years ago and recently picked it up again with the mvp2. I remember having issues like that with dark juice with my first one. They all seem to have gotten more complicated in the couple years i put it down. Lol. I feel kinda lost.

Duck and run this way. :)

I love it (the 30S). It puts anything Protank to shame. Even if the vape was not in favor of one over the other, the value on the coils is legendary.

I've had one 3 months and yet to start on replacement atomizer no.3 :)
