Hi, newbie here!

I currently own an ego-c battery and I'm looking for an upgrade. So far the itaste mvp 2 and hana modz v2/v3 clones seem like the best choice for someone on a low budget like myself. I doubt I will go up to 20 or 30 watts seeing as how I will be using an aspire nautilus clearomizer (which can only take up to 10.5 watts, correct me if I'm wrong) and evod glass but maybe I might purchase a rba in the future so it wouldn't be a bad purchase either. Thoughts?

MVP 2 is just a really great device. You would be very happy with it. It really depends on where you want to go. A DNA clone offers good performance and room for you to move up with rebuildables should you choose to do so.

Personally, I am using a few Kayfuns and drippers as well as PT2's and IClear 30s's. I have an SVD, MVP and a VTR, all of which work just fine with those. I have entertained getting a ZNA which is a DNA30 based device, not because I need the extra wattage, but because I like it's looks and durability. MVP's are cheap and very easy to use. They perform very well. I would suggest starting with that. If you choose to upgrade, you will still have it and probably use it in the future.

Vaping devices are like Lay's potato chips...you can't have just one! :D Good luck, and welcome to ECF!

The only thing I'd say is that, if you're used to regulated mods or use lr attys, then please bear in mind that the DNA 30s I've seen seem to start at 4 volts. That might be a bit high for both your atty and your liquid as a starting point.

I have an MVP v2 and love it. Vapes really well and a doddle to charge. I'm considering getting an E-LVT from FastTech which has the advantage of having a replacable battery.

The MVP 2 is a huge seller that has proven to be a reliable workhorse. While the new 30 watt Chinese mods offer more power they are so new as to be a bit of a gamble.

You might want to go ahead and buy the MVP 2 now and keep an eye out for how the 30 watt Chinese chips perform over at least a couple of months or so. I'm holding off myself but several people whose opinions I tend to respect have spoken quite well of the YiHi SX series of chips.

I have a mvp2 and love it but I just purchased the Hanna mod DNA20 clone. It hasn't arrived yet so I really can not tell you how it performs. I can say this, the Hanna mod dna 20,30 has excellent reviews and it has more capabilities than the mvp2. Plus it is a DNA device. So dependant on what your looking for but I might be inclined to choose the Hanna mod with the newer technology. Don't get me wrong, I love my mvp2, however I feel you can do more with the Hanna mod .

Yes I agree with Realsis. After having gotten into rebuildables last year and seeing the amazing flavor and vapor you could get, it was then almost impossible to match the builds I was getting with rebuilds on a mod, on my Provari V2. V/V V/W devices MOSTLY (not all) are just VERY limited. Was tired of getting E2 and E4 messages when trying to reach that sweet spot I was getting on my mod. And when comparing the capabilities with an ohm calc of the Provari as to the mod, it was VERY significant and clear as to the huge limitations. But on the other hand I missed not having to check the mod battery with a Eleaf multi meter every so often to see where I was at, and having the same constant voltage coming from the device like on the Provari. Mods just supply volts at whatever your battery currently has, so if your battery is less then half full, your going to get lack luster performance as compared to a full battery . So my decision was to have best of both worlds. A nice range of power selection, and v/w and v/v. The clear candidate for me at this point was a DNA 30 device IMHO.
