Yes, the mvp 3 can sub ohm and the mini will look great.

Take a look at the Kamry 20 it can sub ohm to .3 but it only goes to 23 watts
I have one with a subtank Nano i dont go past 15 watts with it, its perfect.

As long as you are using a reliable regulated device, you'll be fine. MVP 3 is a good choice, I'm currently rocking an istick 30 and Sub Mini and love this combo
