Been using my mvp for almost 2 months now with no issues at all and loving it. Using nothing but the vision vivi nova. Today I received the kanger evod and a 510 to ego adapter. I was all excited and set it all up and went to take my first hit and now it won't fire. The light around the button just stays lit green. even without the evod attached and just the adapter I hit the button and stays green. After giving up and putting my nova back on it still won't fire. Light still stays lit green. The only way I can get either task to work is to thread the tank on just enough to have the connections touch. But it's so lose it wobbles around. Any help or ideas?

Is it possible the adapter is defective, and the mvp saw it as a dead short?

Not the adapter. Tried it on a twist. Emailed innokin. They said it shorted out. Hopefully electronicstix warranties it. Innokin said they should have a 3 month warranty.
An adapter can cause a short if you don't attach the fat centre pin end of the adapter first, then the thin centre pin end of the adapter second. The adapter may work with other devices, but may still have caused a short with the MVP.
GP, My son's mvp has done the same thing!! I've tried everything, lifting the pin on the mvp, lifted the pin on crystal, vivi nova, iclear 16, went to an adapter and WAP! dead, lights green, fully charged. It's just done. This is the second mvp since 12/25!! It's blue?? I am searching high and low here and your the first person with the same issue. Let me know if someone comes up with a fix. TIA.
