MVP all the way!!!!! I bought myself a second one (for backup, ha, yea right!) but I'm on my second full day w/o charging, but what I love is my phone and kindle and mvp all use the same cable for charging, so when I go on a trip, only have to remember to bring one charger cable....(and you can get a car charger and hook-up in your car if you need to.

Just got two more last week, one for my sister and one for her 3pad friend, they both LOVE them!!!! (and with them being new, I don't have to worry about them screwing up and putting the wrong batt. on the wrong charger....)

I just picked up an MVP2 yesterday. I do have one question about charging it - Is it important to drain the battery completely before putting it on a charger? Does anyone have any advice about charging in general for the MVP?

Best to keep it around 3.9v

Not best to drain it.

The Tesla is quite hefty as well. The MVP is a little heavy but the shape and size make it very comfortable to use and store.

I agree with this. It's a very easy grip, and the weight distribution makes it very easy to handle.

I watched pbsurardos review and it was actually quite accurate I believe. Check it out, it's short but good.

i would go with the MVP version 2. the price just cant be beat for what you get. it comes with the device, a charging cable, a "beauty ring" and large capacity clearomizer. the shape of the MVP fits comfortably in my hand and have never heard anyone complain about it (other than looks). The internally battery will last at least a full two days. Also the new version 2.0 includes an Ohm reader, Variable Wattage mode, and a new style button that isn't as difficult to find in low visibility areas.

the only category the Tesla wins at in my opinion is the Tesla goes to a full 6 volts/15 watts. while the MVP only goes to 5 volts/11 watts.

'internal battery' is just marketing spin; an attempt to throw a positive spin on something and end up confusing the customer in the process.

The MVP IS a battery. After you recharge it a few hundred times it will eventually die.
The adavantages of it being a battery are
- you don't have to buy batteries additionally for your intial purchase
- you don't have to buy a charger for those batteries

Keep in mind the MVP has flat sides -- IT WONT ROLL OFF OF A TABLE AND GET MESSED UP. It's more pocket friendly than a Tesla, and you don't have to carry a replacement battery with you. The MVP can be charged nightly if need be ;) I own 3, bought one for a relative and one for my fiancée. Everyone loves them, are easy and intuitive to use, AND you can charge your phone with it. AND it has a built in ohm reader. If you look online (completevape.com) you can get an MVP for under $40 WITH shipping. They look like they're out of stock, but usually ship within 2-3 days. A Tesla is $80-100 WITHOUT the battery-batteries (if you're like me and want a 2nd battery already charged) plus a good charger. So $130-$145 total cost for about the same functionality. And I can buy 3 MVP's for that. Proof positive you can't go wrong with the box ;)

I just got my MVP V2 yesterday, I came off a cheaply made eGo system that I picked up in a local store.
I also ordered a lot of Halo juices (Boy, those flavours :vapor:).
As a started, I don't know the Tesla, but I can say the iTaste MVP V2 is REALLY easy to use. get yourself an App on your phone to check best Wattage ( so you won't blow a coil or something) and you can easily adjust it!
I've been playing with Wattage all day, can't seem to find my sweet spot, but I'll get there ;)

The clearomizer it comes with, i30s or something, is pretty great but takes a lot of juice. The ProTank 3 is pretty nice on this things and even my small eVod tanks work great.

So as a starter, MVP is simply, sturdy and good. No problems using the fire button (some say it's tough to pres) and I don't have the wobble since the button is really in the device instead of outwards a little.

Happy Vaping from The Netherlands :)

I have a Tesla and I also have a VTR. Both go to 15 watts. The fire button has given me trouble on the Telsa, had to clean it with contact cleaner and then it worked fine again. It's top heavy when standing up. I'd recommend the MVP, however I do like the function of the buttons on the Tesla and I do like being able to swap out batteries.

No. NiCad batteries had "memory" issues, and doing deep charge/discharge cycles was important.

The LiIon battery in the MVP (and in almost every other vaping battery) does not have this issue; charge 'em when you can.

In practice, though, I vape on my MVP until it goes red, and then re-charge it. (And while it's re-charging, I vape my other MVP, or something else).

Best to keep it around 3.9v

Not best to drain it.

Thanks! In that case I will charge nightly like a cell phone. That sound really convenient.
