Itaste mvp technical issues needing help

Hello I've just received my first mvp energy edition but when I opens the box the mvp smelled a lot like nail varnish (best way to describe) so I went to use the mvp and it did not show any lights or anything I put it on charge straight away but it only showed a red light and if I clicked it it flashed red if I take the mvp of charge and put it back on the screen show some glitchy text and the power button flashed green orange red then back to the red flashing light again anyone known of this before or know any ways to fix it? 1. I'm not sure what to say about the nail varnish, do you mean the mod itself or the packaging?

2. Do you have another micro USB cable you can try?

3. What are you plugging the cable into, like a computer?

4. Do you have the switch on the bottom turned to "OFF"?

5. What tank/cartomizer are you using on it?

6. Does the glitchy text on the screen look like it could say NON?

keep it in the charger for at least 1-2 hours see if it changes from red to yellow, sounds like the battery might be dead

The battery starts at red then turns to yellow then to green when charging. The flashing is just what it does when you turn it on or off

yup, didn't you get a manual? I had the mvp 2 and it came with one and explained all this stuff, but yea sounds like the battery is dead from shelf life

Mine and my wifes MVPs came charged enough to have the green light, either yours was not very charged or the battery was bad (if so, need to return).
