Wow, great comments. Everyone says it is small, but it looks big and fat in pics.
How many recharge cycles are you thinking it will get?
I go through 2 EGO batts every 6-8 months anyway, so this isn't really more expensive that that. About equal to 3 EGO batts.
If I could get 9 months to a year I'd be money ahead with a better device. But it still seems BIG to my eyes.
Any comments?

It's a little wider than a harmonica (same depth and little less height), and a little smaller than a hohner harmonica hard case (it happens to be sitting on my table next to a couple harmonicas)

I've been thinking about an MVP myself and comparing it to a few other devices. The fact that the op also asked for suggestions for similar products in the same price range and only got one suggestion tells me the VIP could very well be the best bang for the buck out there. The only thing really keeping me from pulling the trigger on one right now is Innokin's VTR. It looks great but there is no info for the VTR release date yet.

I only own a few devices, The only one to compair it to would be my Tesla, it was around $10 more, and is taller, Also you would have to buy batteries and a charger.

Con's- Doesnt read Ohms (newer version may), Unserviceable battery (when the battery finally dies and wont hold a charge you throw the device away, Not sure when it will finally die.)

IIRC, the version 3 of the MVP fixes both of these cons. Now, if only Innokin will give a release date of the 3rd gen MVP...

Does anyone have a picture of the MVP in a person's hand?

I do enjoy my MVP. I got it cheap from fast tech. When I bought it, it was because I wanted a new PV! But didn't want to worry about batteries. However, looking back, I kind of wished I would have gotten something like a Vamo. Batteries are no big deal, plus you can just change a battery rather than recharging a whole device. I use my MVP still, but not as my main device.
