The folks at ksd decided to shorten-version option it for you:

vamo "mukey"

Yes I've seen that. Its restricted to 18650 (or 2 x 18350) size, although halved in length basically. I like the look but it is going to be twice the width, and prolly not any lighter. Also haven't seen how they perform compared to the usual Vamos. Be interested to hear from users. An 18350 Vamo isn't very big, but in 18650 it a bit long when out and about I find. Ok at home.

It's the same vamo but with a few extra pieces to make it more like a box mod.
height is 90 cm.

Despite what it says it sure looks to me like you could put in 1 18350 if you want to.
I like the flexibility of being able to move around the pieces and redo the device; for example I got myself a couple extra tubes which I put on the top and cover my protank with just the tip sticking out.

Mine is really loooooong

I actually have both. My Vamp became my back up because the switch doesn't always start and I hit it many times before it will turn on. My MVP 2 has been very good to me. It is bigger but I got used to that. Plus the price was better I found it for $42. But I do like the Vamo sometimes because it's smaller. I am now confused.

After reading a mind-boggling number of MVP fanboy posts, I'm thinking I'll have to try one out. But I can't comment on them from personal experience.

I scored a couple Vamos from slowtech for $50 each with Nitecore I2's and Sony 10 amp batteries for the wife and I - love 'em, and can't beat the price with a stick. I also wanted to dive into mechs at the same time as APVs when upgrading from Ego twists, so the battery charger and included external batteries were a plus for me (supplemented with Sony VTC5s from MBV at $20/pair).

The 5 click on/off function is a little sensitive on my Vamo, the buttons are a bit loose, and I've had to use a paper clip to pull up the positive pin a couple times in the month I've been using it, but I couldn't be happier for the price I paid. No major spills, but I do use it on the job site and it's survived a few knocks and bangs.

I also picked up a 510-USB connector for the Vamo, so in a pinch I could kill my vape to power my phone if it ever comes to that...but I'd be hard pressed to figure out which one I'd rather have in an emergency situation.

tl;dr: I don't think you can go wrong with a Vamo, but the MVP pushers make some compelling arguments. If you have no interest in sharing batteries with mechs and box mod v. tube mod aesthetics makes no difference, methinks MVP might be the way to go, even though I've never tried one.

So its a true passthrough? Or are you still vaping on the batt while its charging?
I'm not a passthrough user - I vape on the go mostly.

Unless you run at max volts or watts, most of us chain vapers still manage to get a full day off of a charge. I run 7w with 2 ohm clearos and charge every other day at night when I use my backups.

Thanks. I'm not knocking it btw - I recommend it to new vapers regularly if the form factor is ok with them. I know its a long lasting battery. But I prefer just replacing a battery in my mod if I have a choice. I don't like using my car for charging either. After a couple of years I've developed my own preferences.

Yes it is a passthrough; you can vape on it while it is charging.

You can plug it in for charging while you're at your computer on ecf and vape away. Like plugging in your cellphone and using it while you're at the computer.

Yes, I know that. I was asking if its a true passthrough. Apparently not.

Well....it acts enough like a pass through to be its faternal twin. When it is plugged in and you then take a vape....it gets the power from the battery......but the instant you let go of that button it's charging. Unless you are Gorilla Chain vaping...it will charge to full while you are using it. But by strict definition...it is not a true pass through

With a true passthorugh you are not drawing on the battery - you're drawing on the AC power supply directly. Most ecig "passthgroughs" aren't true passthroughs.

So

1: The answer to the question is "No".
2: If you're drawing on the AC power supply directly instead of anything to do with the battery, wouldn't that be a bypass?

3: If you're interested in a passthrough/bypass, here's an interesting 18650 one :
