Itaste SVD coming in tomorrow

So I have an Itaste SVD coming in tomorrow. It comes with the 2 clearomizers from the factory. I also have an Aspire Nautilus sitting here. This is my first dive into VV/VW vaping. I will be using a 50/50 6 percent juice. For those with the SVD, do you find better flavor and cloud production using the VV or the VW? I am using the Panasonic 2900MAH 10A batteries. Any tips or tricks to set this thing up or is it pretty much fire it up and go? Does it need any type of cleaning beforehand?

You can achieve your ideal vape using either vv or vw mode. Just different means to the same end. I tend to start at 8 watts and go up until it tastes bad/burnt, then back it down a bit.

Alright, i'll give it a shot. Is there any reason to use the Iclear30s or should I just go straight to the Nautilus Aspire I have sitting here?

the 30s is a decent tank but the Nautilus will blow it away.

SVD is a nice device. I am an Innokin fan. I can't speak about the Nautilus because I don't have one, but the Iclear 30 is a solid clearomizer. If you use them, unscrew the head from the base and wash the rest of it before you do.

I'm waiting on delivery of an SVD myself at the moment & will be using my Nautilus with it. I'd be interested to see how you find it with the SVD, also which heads you favour with it 1.6ohm, 1.8ohm or 2.2ohm (I really want to get some 2.2ohms but they aren't even on Aspire's website yet).

The SVT is out for delivery. I have 1.6 heads and 1.8 heads. I also have some 28 Kanthal on order to build some 1.6 micro coils for the nautilus. When its all up and running i'll post up my findings and impressions. I have the next 3 days off, so I'll be able to test the unit. Microcoil build won't be happening till next week or so though.

just a heads up on the SVD, if you search these threads you will find some info on Fire button problems that some people are having....i'm about 1 month in on mine and everything is doing great, yet i apply minimum pressure to my fire button as a precaution...don't know if it helps but it makes me feel better...

Thanks for the info. I'll keep that in mind for later if I run into issues. Mine is hitting well. So far I only have juice from freedom smoke. The juice appears to be thin, and the website does not list the PG/VG percentage. Bavarian Cream ( a new flavor) royally sucks. I thought my SVD was burning it at first. Swapped out to a clear30 tank and same flavor...even at 3.2 watts. I added some Apple Crumble (very cinnamon like) and it blended well and vapes good. I've taken it up to 4.5 watts with no issues. For now I keep it on about 4.1. The vapor production is descent, but nothing epic. I hope with some better juice things will just get better. I have some 28 kanthal and some 2mm eco wool coming in for some microcoils later....hopefully that increases the experience as well.

yea i don't imagine Bav Cream would be any good by it's-self, i use it as a base flavor in DIY recipes when mixing flavors...i really like my blu-bacco in an Aspire BDC 2.1 at about 7.5 to 8 watts...sweet
