I am having the exact same problem with my SVD. One moment it was fine and then suddenly it was firing all on it's own. I wasn't even touching it.

I cant get mine to stop firing once I put a battery in, the second the battery makes connection the atomizer starts firing. Its weird though I can hit the fire button while its firing and its responsive, it will light up green and I can even switch it to the off position setting, but it doesn't turn off and I have to drop the battery. If I cant find any ideas to fix it im just gonna rig it and make it a mod somhow by adding a spring and bypassing the firing mech somehow.

SVD button is crap. I have 4 replacement buttons but i cant get the svd top cap appart, so i cant change the broken button. Why didnt they stick with a threading instead of glue?! :blink:

I tried nitro, knife, pliers, flat screwdriver and hammer method. Nothing...

:facepalm:

dunno about the svd but I got my vamo top off by clamping down using a c-clamp and wiggling with a big pliers;
its a pressfit.
was a pain but it came out; and i replaced a center pin grommet and soldered the wires;
am gonna get a replacement board for it too just in case for the future;

yeah; threading would have been better instead of press fit; but then theyd have to design for the wires too.

The only issue I have with my SVD is it turning off at random times, but that seems to be a common issue with the SVD.

1. Spring under center pin is bad and sometimes it doesnt lift the pin enough so there is no connection to certain atomizers. Manual lifting reguired
2. Bad fire button
3. Wobbly telescopic tube
4. Auto shutdowns, probably software issue

You are gonna get there ;(

#4 is because of #2.

My vamo3 shuts off because of the wobblyness of the double segment brass tubes.

I've thrown one in the trash and have another that I've had to open up and repair myself, and it still doesn't work right.

I'll never buy or recommend an SVD. No other mod out there has anywhere near the failure rate of the SVD.

you need to go read the Vamo threads.... I had 2 Vamo3's that died from 2' falls to the floor.....

mine isnt even a month old and already the fire button is acting up.
fires, doesnt fire, turns its self off, and its also taking longer to fire once its pressed
i now have a buzzing sound coming from the tanks when i press the fire button which wasnt there before.

its also acting like the voltage is way off, as in under volted.

also someone check theres please but i SWEAR that the SVD showed actual voltage when testing the 510 connector with a volt meter, i swear it did, not mine only shows a wacky 2.4 or 2.8v because its pulse width.

i wanted something different as a 2nd unit, i have an MVP 2.0 and its been a champ! i guess i should have just gotten another MVP.....
plus it shows actual voltage with a volt meter when the button is pressed. i just wish the MVP had a raised button.

i got the SVD from myfreedomsmokes.com who, from what i have seen, frequently sells old items.
like their Vamo that doesnt show which version it is, its actually an old Ver 2 and you can only see that by reading the reviews and comments

the replacement i got is def. better than the first, seems to not eat batteries as much either though that could just be placebo.

i didnt notice until this replacement but the 510 connection pin is spring loaded. god thats awesome, i hate when the 510 connector on the tank gets pushed up inside a little as to not allow it to work on my other devices.
the spring loaded contact is awesome.
