I have never tried a Tesla, but I do have a Provari mini and an SVD. I was looking for a spare cheaper VV mod and e verything I had read about the SVD was positive. I've been using the SVD for a few weeks now and it's a solid mod. I honestly can't tell between my Provari and my SVD when I am vaping, taste and draw wise. The SVD is significantly longer than my Provari and is heavier, so if that is an issue I suggest trying one in the store to see if you are okay with that. Great mod, great controls, look nice.... No real complaints here except the size.

I'd save up for a provari..:) Like I say in many other threads, I'm a snob.

The Provarians are stepping up their game. It only took four posts this time.

Go with the SVD. You won't be disappointed with either one, but I really like the look.

I wouldn't get that kit, though. The Efest battery is fine, but You should get a better charger and your existing atomizer collection will probably work just fine. See if you can get the SVD bare bones and build your own "kit."

Don't get a kit. Just get "body only". The chargers and batteries are usually rubbish. I use a tesla. Well built, sprung centre terminal etc. Also got a Vamo V4. I'm going to get an SVD soon too. So, the real qustion is...........Which one first ?. If you get the batteries and chargers seperately then at least you can choose to get good quality rather than being stuck with crap that don't work.

It's true what they say about the tesla. The adjustment buttons are above the screen so when in use your thumb blocks your view of the screen. So yeah, if you've only got one arm it could be a bit of a problem. Or if you just can't be bothered to use both hands because your fat and lazy then that's really your own problem. Get a tread mill !. A tesla will out last any other device by a mile. It's about an inch thick for gods sake !

I have had my Tesla for about a month now, and I absolutely love it. I also have a MVP and a Vamo V2. I like all of them, but the Tesla is probably my fave. I can't say anything about the SVD because I haven't tried it, but I'm EXTREMELY happy with the Tesla.
Also, I agree with what others have said about not buying the kit. I've been burned before by kits....not literally, but figuratively.

I bought the SVD kit from FastTech. No batteries just the kit that included the tubes, iClear30's, replacement heads, and the head unit. All of it for 60 bucks or so. Then I went out and got a GOOD charger and batteries (2x EFEST 2200 mah 18650 and 2x Panasonic 18650CG 3400 mah) from Amazon. I love it, have dropped it more than once without issues to the unit, and while I agree that the short tube is really the only one required, the two iClear30's and replacement heads are a nice addition and will keep you vaping for at least a month or two without you having to buy another thing (except juice).
My Vamo 3 which was ordered at the begging of September from FastTech may be in my vapemail today if I am lucky, but another order I made at the same time from FastTech on the same day is still n Hong Kong. So if you order from a Chinese company be prepared to wait. Good luck on your journey! :vapor:

GET THE PROVARI!!!!!

Joking, joking. I own a mini Provari and Smok ZMAX but I've been looking for a cheaper device with a center floating pin. BAM! Exactly the thread I was looking for. $37.21 for a sound VV mod device? SOLD! Question... can someone please confirm that the Innokin iTaste SVD from FASTTECH has a center floating pin? I've been doing a little research and some say they're fake devices while others are saying they're extremely happy. All I want to know is if the center pin floats and it works. Thanks in advance!

If you are considering a Tesla, then don't watch the Phil Busardo video on it. It's a thumbs down.

The SVD is nice. I like the Sigelei V3/5 in a telescoping mod. Better quality and appearance, imho. GearQuest can be a bear. The truth is that other than quality and appearance, most of the sub $100 china mods use the same 33.3 chip, and other than a few changes in buttons and menu, are all relatively the same. Never owned a Tesla after Phil's review, but have many others. I prefer the Innokin and especially the Sigelei models in your price range. I think you can answer this question for yourself if you'll take the time to watch the many YouTube videos on these and perhaps a couple of other similar models. There's really less differences than one might think at first, and there are several poor quality ones that have issues that we hear about all the time, in your price range. It also helps to go to a local B&M and just hold them. I got an SVD, but it didn't take long before turning it sideways to read the display to annoy me. Hard to get that from the pictures. Also, the heft was always important to me. Goldy Locks zone, and all, since the thing rarely leaves my hand. I find the 134 too large, and the ego-t too small, but everything else is in between. Also, quality build and machining and to some extent, durability, can only be determined by holding them. The SVD rattles like crazy when extended BEFORE you put the battery in it. The Sigelei V3 never did for me. I guess I'm just saying quality and appearance have more to do with your selection than perhaps anything else, because performance is pretty close on all these APV's. Best APV's under $100 is the Sigelei V3/5 (quality and appearance), the Vamo (value) and the iTaste 3.0 (stick). Realize those weren't the choices or the answer to the question, but you did ask for our opinions. YMMV. My two cents.
