iTaste SVD Question

Those of you who use an SVD, how is the 510 connector threading? Is it soft or is it well made and holds up well to the daily changes of attachments?

Any other "pros & cons" are appreciated.

wondered the same thing so i just decided to play it safe by using a 3 dollar airflow control adapter, it basically gives me a new base to attach my 510 devices and protects my original SVD threads....the adapter makes the airflow holes on the SVD's beauty ring useless but then you have airflow control on the adapter....when the adapter is wide open there is a very small gap between the base and the topper.....the adapter adds about 1/4 inch height...been working very well for me........i very seldom use ego toppers on my SVD so this is not an issue for me.

Mine's about 6 months in, no problems with either thread. Can't say the same for some of my toppers, but replacement bases for them are relatively cheap.

Seems to be pretty solid. Had different tanks on and off repeatedly and can't tell there's any wear on the threads at all.
