Itaste SVD - VV/VW Question

Hello all, new vaper here. I was gifted an iTaste SVD and was wondering exactly how this device functions at its maximum settings. This device has a maximum setting of 6V and/or 15W with a maximum current output of 5A. Let's assume the coil has a resistance of 1.9ohms...at the max 15W setting the device should fire at 5.34V and draw 2.81A. This is all within it's listed operating ranges. However if using the same coil of 1.9ohms and a setting of 6V the math works out to 18.95W and 3.16A. My question is...Is this device really firing at almost 19W or does it regulate itself from 6V down to 5.34V to fire at 15W?

Yes, the watts, volts and amps are separate limitations that cannot be exceeded. If your volt setting results in the higher than allowed watts it will run at the maximum watts. If either setting exceeds the amps then it will run at the maximum amps.

If your watts setting exceeds the maximum voltage then I want to see what kind of coil you're using.
