Having owned the SVD for a couple of months, I have never regretted it. It is a large device, especially if you use the full size 18650 battery, and can be cumbersome. I get a little bit fed up of the strange looks I get when in public. It's nice and compact with a single 18350 battery. It's well built, and I have had no problems with mine, although a friend of mine is starting to have problems with the tactile switch underneath the fire button, which has become a little "soft" and has lost it's nice tactile -click-
It's never misfired, and the onboard firmware is good, easy to use menu system, shows you the remaining voltage on the battery, lets you select the voltage to apply to your 510 connection, or the wattage in VW mode, and has a resistance checker. The SVD is 23.5mm in diameter and that gives you lots of tank options that will look good on your device.
