Anybody have an opinion on which of these two models are better? I've compared the 2 on paper and the mega seems to have a few advantages but I'm not sure if they will make any difference in the real world. The mega has more battery life so I'm clear on that. I'm more concerned about it having the ability for more watts and capable of more volts. Will I miss the extra power if I choose the itaste v3? Whichever one I choose it will be my first vv/vw fyi. All comments are welcome and appreciated! Thanks

I too am new to vv/vw ohm reading and rbas ive been thinking about the ego v3 mega for its shape battery life and built in ohm meter but know very little about the itaste.

On the downside im hearing the v3 mega has some durability issues but for 35$ or less i feel like its worth having money left over for a good case

My second mod was an eGo-v v3 and it still works fine to this day. I didn't know about the Innokin device at the time. If I had to choose between the two again I would get the Innokin. I just like them as a company. Either one will work just as well though.

If you have a few extra dollars to spend I would recommend the MVP2.0. 101Vape sells them for $40 and the battery life is outstanding.

Eh the mvp is a little bulky for me anyway and im just looking at the least expensive way to get vv and an ohm tester lol i ordered my first rba w.out looking into safety first im thinking the v3 mega should work for me and 1300mAh is plenty for me, my 650mAh innokin battery lasts most of the day so ill be happy to get it and start building coils

Have both, and both have performed well for me. Both can run in pass-thru style.

But since I'm often not in range of a power source, I do find myself toting the VV3 more often as backup to my tube mod. (I never go out without at least two devices.)

The Ego V3 is, of course, longer than the Innokin, which can be an issue for some. And round, so it can roll away if laid down.

So it really may just come down to aesthetics and mAh rating... :)

The relatively low mah rating of the VV3 is the only thing I feel it looses on compared to other more advanced pen style devices.
The over all quality is a step above most other ego types.
The fact that it can fire down to .9ohms is pretty neat too.

At the FT price of 25USD that makes it a great deal too.
At circa 40 at a BnM I would say it is still fair but at that price or greater I would start considering a different segment of devices altogether like a Mvp2 PROVIDED you arent stuck on the pen size mods.

Im using two of the eGo-V v3 megas (1300mAh). Definitely nice units. Haven't had a chance to meter them and see how accurate power output is, but in voltage mode there is a noticeable change in the vape when I up the volts. Compared to my vamo the vape is smoother at same voltage. What I don't know is how it ups the voltage (probably pwm), but i don't hear the "rattlesnake hiss" at all compared to the vamo.

I'd consider it a worthy buy from FT at 23 n change.. I can vape hard on them @3.7 for two days before recharging.

I really like all my innokin devices. I think they're killing it at the $40 pricepoint. If it makes any difference, you can pick up the basic vv v3 unit here for only $26.

Innokin iTaste VV (V3) Express kit - 101 Vape

As has been said, the MVP 2.0 is a good deal at $40 but the slimmer vv v3 makes for a good portable device if you're into mini protanks and the like.

The MVP is literally the same size as a pack of cigarettes.
