Looks alright. Just no adjustable wattage. I don't really want to fire my pt coils at 12 watts.
It does have 3 different settings though.
Just low, medium & high.
According to the site low would be 5 watts at over 2 ohms coil.
That has been the hardest thing to find, everything comes with a fixed output on this type of device.
I guess I will find out if it works for my out & about set up.

Had a Smok "Variable Volt" way back when like that. Problem was that it didn't have buck or boost to hold the higher settings. Real problem was that it fell apart in my hands about 3rd use, lol.
Isn't 15mm really small for any tank? I don't recall what the VV3's were. I just threw what I was using on it w/o much thought.

Yes, 15 mm is about the same as the vv3’s.
I used the beauty ring on it with my pt2’s with the afc.
    They’re about 19 mm tanks.
But I could live with the over hang, I guess.
But ya are making me think twice, cause I’ve never owned an Eleaf product.

I'm not too excited about the trim, although I'd be slightly more excited if it had a rubberized finish. It looks like that thing would just slip out of my hands at a moments notice. Do they have silicone sleeves for them? The lack of much wattage adjustment freedom just doesn't sound all that truly useful.

My most recent mod purchase was a Vaporesso Swag, to replace my old iStick Picos, which replaced my old iStick Mini, which replaced my old VV3s (along with a few other mods not worth mentioning). It's still nice to see some active discussion about the old VV3s. I loved mine while they were still of use to me, but that was years ago now.

Just stumbled across this.iStick Trim - Eleaf electronic cigarette
I might give it a go to replace beloved vv3’s.

I've told others that were trying to transform FROM the VV V3 to something similar, to get something that is small and can do it all...
from my own use/experience I really liked the iStick TC40w; then the Cuboid Mini came out - they both do a great job IMO (I just discarded the tank that might of came with them)

then of course the eVic BASIC might be of some great interest to you also... ;)

:) well I hope you can find somethin that works for ya...

I ALMOST bought a box of the TC40w's - but then "REGS" came out & I switched gears to the Replaceable Battery type devices...

the TC40w is light, small and does it all for a good price (seen $27)

then I found (looking for small dependable) the Cuboid Mini for wife-- it was so beautiful (like a piece of jewelry) I didn't have the heart to give it to her (she is brutal on mods!)

so I got her the eVic Basic // it was so small she gave it back and laff'd at me...

As my VV V3's (with attached T3S's) have been dying off...I've been replacing them with eGo AIO D16's...very similar hand feel, pocket comfort and MTL experience...

(Also have a couple eGo AIO D22 XL's for use at home...slightly bigger and a little heaver...but a 4ml. tank and 2300mAh battery.)

I think it is preposterous that with the popularity of the 'one-of-a-kind' VVv3
why on earth would Innokin just let it die off into oblivion...

it is 15mmx15mm square -- an 18650 battery is 18mm 'round

just expand the SAME Exact Format (display screen/User Interface/fire button/connectors)
to fit a 3000mah 18650, don't charge unreal prices and sell a million of them...

It is almost square. Cheap too. innokin itaste svd 2.0 stainless steel 20w vv/vw mod

Just not something I am going to put three of in my shirt pocket when I go out for the day.

Another mod will have to replace the VV's when they die.

VV3's will always have a special spot in my vaping history. My first Variable Voltage. Had to laugh tho that they left the rivets on them in plain sight as the fixed the problem of them pulling apart, lol.

Both mine started auto-firing @ 6mths, and had to be tossed. Just in time for the debut of the Istick. Lucky me as there was nothing else around that met my needs.

As krazy as it sounds, the only mod I can even think of to even come klose to "replacing" (there actually is no replacement) the VVs is the Jackie! There's not much is tube/box style that I can think of, and altho VERY different devices, what else might there be?

I could use THIS, but it would NEVER leave the house...
