iTaste VTR buzzing?

Hey all,

I've had my VTR for awhile now, and I don't know if it's because I'm hard of hearing, or I've just become more aware of my surroundings, but the past couple of days I hear a buzzing sound when I hit the fire button. Is this normal, or should I start getting worried?

VTR is a 2nd gen. unit. Battery is a Panasonic NCR18650B 3400mAh. (Purchased before reading Baditudes post on 18650's )

Then again... mine is a kinda wonky 1st gen that I'm trying to get replaced (it's only 1 week old.)

I have an SVD that does that when my teeth hit the tip of my T3s.

ETA: I experimented after I first heard it, and it doesn't do it if my teeth don't touch the tip.

Have you tried sticking the mouthpiece in your ear and hit the fire button?

It actually vaporized some of my earwax.

I've had the misfortune of getting a liquid that tastes like earwax smells...

Mine buzzes. You can almost here the oscillation of the electrons pulsing in waves as they're sent through the coil. Has since it was new. Same with the 134. I wouldn't be worried unless you were actually getting a shock out of it.

LOL! Can't say as I have tried that.

Mine will buzz when I'm not actually vaping, just hitting the fire button, and at all battery levels.

Thanks Jay-dub. I haven't got shocked yet, but that thought did occur to me.
