ITASTE vtr ring help

I recently got the vtr and all was well untill i dropped it on my floor , the ring is con-caved so i cannot fit any tanks even the iclears that are built for it or the beauty ring adapter
does anyone know a fix

I have seen someone in the vtr itaste forum on here that sawed his ring off. It's an option?
