I have the VTR and absolutely love it! You get use to the weight pretty quick when walking around with it. It's currently my every day and everywhere mod. Go for it man! Get a spare battery and you'll be good! Mine lasts for multiple tanks on a single charge!

Just got my VTR. Was surprised by its weight. You do get used to it pretty quickly. Certainly is a fingerprint magnet. I have ordered a custom leather case for it. Should be here on the weekend. I have been using 2 MVP2 units. I am a heavy vapor and one does not last me thru the day. Just about but an hour or so short. I bought 4 2900mah batteries for the VTR. I think that I will use all 3 boxes in rotation. I l like to use RBAs and do not like the extender on the VTR so will use them on the MVPs. Stick to the iClear 30s and an AeroTank for the VTR.

Few questions. I have a Natural and I'm looking at a VV unit. I like this thing. Question though. It takes an 18650 battery, which I thought was 3.7v

However the unit is VV up to 6.0V.

How is that possible with the battery being 3.7V? Am I missing something?

Also, will my AGA T+ atomizers fit or do I need something smaller? If so, what is the most reliable atomizer for the thing?
Sorry, I'm jumping in on this late and don't have a ton of time to research at the moment but figured I'd ask here.

Any tips / info appreciated.

Thanks.

I love my vtr! Got it off ebay for 70 bones with efest battery and an ok charger. Just make sure it's the latest version without the spinning lock. Innokin is including a scratch off number that can be verified on their web site. Ask the seller if it has one if not stay away. And support the local shop for juice and parts. I just couldn't pay double at mine.

Mine has the spinning lock, and is just fine. No problems at all. Only thing I have noticed, is the yellow light comes on at 3.7v. This is true on my SVD also. Now I usually charge at 3.6 anyways, but it would be nice if the warning didn't come on quite so early. Just a preference thing though. Also seems the Ohm meter reads .1 to .2 higher then my stand alone meter, Vamo, and Digi multimeter.

I'm this close to pulling the trigger and getting the VTR to be my first Mod. I prefer the external battery to the MVP's built in because when a built in stops holding charge that's a whole mod you're tossing out rather than a $10 battery. My concern is I've seen lots of people saying that lots of batteries are too big for the mod? Is this true, if so how do you find the right batteries for it?

I have a brother in law that just started vaping and he asked me what device I thought he should be looking at under $100. I told him to grab the Itaste VTR. It may not be a starter device but in my opinion its better to just get yourself a great device like this one (yes I have one, quite happy with it) and forgo all the cash your gonna spend on starter kits and all the additional bull.

The VTR can be off putting though with it's weight for a new vapor. Has your brother in law held yours? If he want's a lighter device, I love my Innokin SVD and my Vamo V5. Both are under the $100 range, can use same battery configurations, and are much lighter.

Personally I love mine though. The weight makes me think durability.

I looked at the MVP too....and thought the same thing. That being said is the VTR worth the extra $$?
The MVP's battery is built in. Once your battery reaches is life cycle, so does your PV. The VTR doesn't have that issue. But, it's a fingerprint magnet and despite not being much larger than a pack of short stinky's, it's pretty dense. It weighs more than my 134. My wife dropped her VTR on the sidewalk and it's got some scratches now. Most of them could be buffed out. I didn't see the chrome completely breached and the device works fine. I'd recommend a wrap for it as well. The price point is a plus with the MVP. If it works as a pass-through device that may be a pro for you. It can also be used to charge other devices which may be a plus for you. Personally, I'd let my cell phone die before my PV. And pass-through is pointless if you keep charged batteries at hand.

Only thing I have noticed, is the yellow light comes on at 3.7v. This is true on my SVD also. Now I usually charge at 3.6 anyways, but it would be nice if the warning didn't come on quite so early.

The yellow light comes on when it drops to 50% battery life. Volts range from 3.2 (Dead) to 4.2 (Fully charged). So, 3.7 is 50%. Green is 50-100%, yellow is 25-50%, red is 25% and below

Right, just my preference. I would like to see yellow at about the 40% mark. I'm one of those that likes to charge at the yellow light. It's an ocd thing. Lol. Not a problem at all though. I have went on using it to red with no performance drops, just to see how long it would go.

Not trying to be contrary, but I weighed both of mine (without any tanks or batteries), and the 134 was slightly heavier than the VTR. I'm at work so I can't re-weigh them at the moment, and can't remember exactly what the ounces/grams were. They are BOTH heavy though! lol.

best regards, larry mac

Good call. I weighed them like Lady Justice. Guess my scales are off. :)
