i have a new Itaste VV4 15 watt 1000mah
I don't seem to get as much time out of my battery as i expected- does anyone know about how long it should last?

I'm going to test it out to see exactly how much time i get out of a full charge but as of right now i just feel like it's not lasting as long as it should.

Also when I use it plugged up on a charging cord the battery still runs out till it eventually has no charge and turns off and cant be used till it adds up some charge on it- I thought since it was a pass through device i would still be able to continue to use it while being plugged up on the charger, so im not sure if I should actually be able to with this device and mine is not working correctly or thats just how this unit does work.

Ok, that last part doesn't make any sense - or it does - depending on what you are doing here.

First, with devices like a VV4 you aren't vaping directly from the power supply when you plug them in to charge. So if you have depleted the VV4 to the point that it shut itself down due to low battery you can't vape it plugged in until the battery recovers enough output current for that to happen.

At that point, if you are trying to chain vape the VV4 with next to no charge on it and faster than it can recharge - yeah, you would end up with the VV4 shutting down eventually.

The missing part here is: What are you plugging the VV4 into for charging? I haven't looked the specs up on the VV4 but I wouldn't be surprised if Innokin says it should be plugged into a 1 amp power supply. If you are under-powering it while charging using a low current USB power supply that's only going to make your perpetual "running out of gas" problem worse.
