Ithaka Tweak no more bubbles & gurgle FORGETABOUTIT

As I said in video I am catching up on all the pms and emails. I got a lot of request on this matter. Well here is your solution. FORGETABOUITIT!!!

I will be making more videos on Ithaka soon. keep the request coming.
I just been so busy with helping folks with coil building techniques, testing mods, visiting vape shops helping folks with coils and wanting to try GG devices and Ithaka. Lots of people keeping me busy.

I don't get this. Are you saying bubbling happens because of the opening in the ceramic which are there to have the additional reserve tank. And what about the new nut imeo sent. I thought the problem was because of long nut.
ya mine has long nut as you see in video. I don't have the new nut you speak of. No one sent me new nuts for my ithakas.

Wouldn't be easier by just installing the center post top nut in "closed position"?

(Open position is when the center post top nut notches and ceramic inner slots match.)

As I have posted on Ithaka's Official thread:

I usually leave the center post top nut in "Opened Position", I do not mind the little gurgling, but I like to leave like that, in case I open too much the liquid feeding control: excess liquid will travel down to the small chamber and then will be eventually absorved by the wicks.

On my friend's Ithakas, I leave the center post top nut in closed position, so no gurgling will occur.

Gurgling also happens when Ithaka's center post is loose.

I like the detail and configuration options, versatility and features Ithaka has :)

Now I'm confused because I thought gurgling or bubbling is happening because of nut too close to wick. But now you are saying maybe it is the openings in the ceramic causing the gurgling?

In my experience that gurgling happens when:

* Center post is loose.
* Wick is too close to the center post top nut (that could happen when installing wicks in X position, for example. When I install dual coils in X position, I always pull up a little the wicks, just in case they are to close to the center post top nut).
* Center post top nut is installed in "Opened Position".

great bish:)

also, did you receive my pm about 2 coils on one wick?

Morning, Yes Imeo I got your message I was wondering if its the dual coils I have done previous on Ody using a dual resistance wire as one coil. If thats the case then less wick can be used. Then I can do not only 4 coils but 8 coil build. I was going to do a video with a 8 coil build on Ithaka.

Then let me do it once to show you what I mean Bish and then try it it by yourself and if you like it then you make a video about it

Just saw imeo's video. I have to give credit to bish I watched a video a long time ago where he did this as triple coil on a Penelope I believe. I dunno why he stopped doing it :). But great video imeo and it is so easily done with the ready wires. I suggest you make ready wires with 2 R wires for this. This way people will use it directly.

Also I made a set up like this for Greek seller vasillis and he told me that he didnt know until now how nice vaping can be.
Just tested, insane warm vapor! Excellent coil :)

BRAVO BRAVO Imeo, Very good my friend. I have done these previously back with Penny and Ody and as early version of triple coils. I did do a video on this like aalwani said. However my style was different than what you showed. My style was joining two resistance wire with one non resistance wire one one wick. In your example you joining two single coils with two resistance wire and two non resistance wire using your premade wires on one wick.

back then when I did this I met Manos and he offered a tweak adding more moisture and heat. Today its called Highlander coils. since then I never turned back. How ever that was back with penny and ody. This is Ithaka.

I like what you showed. you gave a another way to do dual coils on one wick which in essence you did a quad coil build there. I congratulate you for the quad coil build on Ithaka. I haven't met many people that can do a quad coil on Ithaka since I'm building it for them. have you tried doubling the wick for added moisture? I'll do a video soon showing a sextuple build on ithaka not sure if the world is ready to see.

Bish, I knew that you quad coil was the best of all but it was a little difficult to make it. I mean that it takes time and needs attention and good eyes, something that I cant do it, thats why I am making atomizers that are easy to be build. And also thats why I am trying to find ways to make our lifes easy. So I thought of this trick. It has exactly the same result as yours (witch has an extraordinary effect by the way:thumbs:) and it can be done very easy. So now all people can enjoy your quad coils without any effort:)

Will multi-coils work for non-sub-ohm vaping? I tried a couple out last night, dual coils @ 1.3 ohms, with and without the third naked wick. It took 6-7 drags from cold to get any kind of vapor, but both vapor production and flavor were terrible.

If this should work, it might be the physical length required of the 32g Kanthal. I might pick up some thinner gauge, to shorten the R wire for this setup.
