yeah as imeo said the nickel will add slight resistance to your build, most of the time it will counter the internal ohms of your meter and come out spot on. i use a very expensive fluke meter (i am an electrician so my work bought it) and my internal resistance is 0 to .1 depending which leads i use, klein meters are also very good, as you see bishop using, for klein always look for orange, thats their color. even know its non resistance wire it has very small amount of resistance. its best to use alligator clips to measure the resistance because your body will measure resistance and if you hold the leads to the wire with you fingers you may add a small amount of resistance. resistance in the human body depends on the amount of salt content in the body. the lower the salt content the less resistance. ever hear about someone surviving the electric chair? thats because they had very low salt content in the body due to very crappy prison diets. nowadays they pump you with a saline solution before the chair which increases your bodys resistance and ensures the chair does its job. your best bet for accurate ohm reading is head to home depot and get the 15 usd alligator leads and you will be very pleased with the results. and the alligator clip part unscrews from the leads and you will have normal leads, its a win win.

oh btw, bish nice video as always, im putting my wires in my dewalt as i type. ive tried this years ago and had ok results but was very new to rbas and didnt have any gg to work with nor any silver nr wire, but i have more experience and all the goodies to try this out. i will try and report back. one of these days i will have to head up to NY to one of your appearances, im only a couples hours away, and i spend 2 hours in traffic each day so to spend that on head up state to learn a few tricks would be worth it. grats brother

Ah thanks for the info aalwani!
BmoreJeff, yep I've got a Klein multimeter with alligator clips as well.

well you have a very good meter. i have several meters and they all have slightly different internal resistance. but if your using alligator clips try turning the clips so the wire makes contact with the inside edge of the clips closest to the section of wire you measuring. i hope that makes sense. the clips are about 1/8 inch wide so you want to turn it so the wire makes a solid contact with the edge that is closest to the section of res wire you measuring. sometimes they make contact with the outside edge of the clips and that will add resistance. turn them in and that will help eliminate .1-.3 ohms by error of using clips

Yeah I usually try to get the wire in a good spot on the clips then turn them slightly and pull the wire taught.. Usually get a good reading, I was just surprised at the resistance boost from the nickel (at least compared to regular coils), I thought I had to have been doing something wrong, but now I know :)
Thanks for the tips!

your not doing anything wrong, with the twisted coils you can expect to get odd readings on you meter, as im getting right now. my trick is get the built to your desired ohms, then build the next coil to the same length then test before trimming the excess from twisting. this way i find i can get exact matching coils for a perfect vape

i did buy about a month ago about 50 ft of every size of A-1 ribbon wire from temco. i love this wire and have found it to produce the best results so far. i will be twisting this wire until im 100 years old, but im happy with it. my vape i take to work is a .6 ohm dual coil @ 3.7v ithaka with bobas bounty on a ggts which rocks, and then my home vape is a 1.5 dual coil @ 7.4v with bobas or gorilla juice and i have found my best vape so far. i did get some happy liquid from germany that vapes extremely well, but the ave juice for me has the best throat hit at 6mg on dual coil

Nice - so wait you twist 2 ribbon wires together? I was thinking about that the other day but figured it'd be incredibly thick. Curious to see that setup

Man, Bishop, this Martha Stewart cotton hemp yarn is out of this world! I don't think I'll be going back to silica!

I used 3 strands of yarn with one strand going down the channels on my dual coil .65ohm high VG build and it's wicking like a champ. No dry hits, no leaking - it's great! Thanks for the tip!

I think next time I'm going to use 2 strands with 1 down the channels and see how that goes, 3 was a bit thick for me, I just hope I get the same wicking with 2.

Not sure how you fit 3 strands of yarn down your Penelope channels (I think in one video you said you used 3) - I could barely fit 2 so I decided to use 1. It works great either way!

And so cheap! I've got wicks forever with this roll!
