I tried a chimney/vertical coil in my lemo and it would spit liquid enough that it would make it to my mouth. Anyone have a cure/knowledge?

Is it a twisted coil?

And how tight do you have your cotton wrapped on the coil. When I do loose wraps on verticals or don't have enough cotton in my coils I get spitting.

If it's twisted it's the juice in the cracks and crevices and that's harder to stop.

My advice is to be very careful while preparing your cotton.
I have bought a lemo about a week ago and i changed my cotton from the actual build that was on it right away.
First i don't know what cotton that is, for me it's not even natural, it tasted sythetic on the first draw.
2 days after, i finally got My Organic Japanese Koh Jen Doh and man i'm happy about it.
It's a bit tricky though, you must be careful cutting the piece you're going to install following the filaments so that it will do it's job right and not break when you're rolling it.
My personal advice, spend some more hours on youtube.. there's lots of videos about organic cotton builds
