After doing probably 100 different coils in the first four days of owning a Kayfun I could not find something that didn't have serious issues.

Anything over 1ohm was out performed by my nautilus in flavor and vapor production:(

I decided to play sub a bit and tried every coil build I could find on the internet, none of them were consistent. Dry hits on some, no flavor on others, and then the chimney design. It had good flavor, no dry hits, and lots of vapor but there is a problem with it...

At .6 Ohms if it is straight vertical it will occasionally spit hot juice up the air tube into my mouth :/

Here is my answer :)

26 gauge, 8/9 wrap, .65 ohms. Wrapped up like a mummy in cotton q-tip. I can vape on it until the atty is too hot to hold in your hand, no insulation melting, no spitting juice, just lots of rich hot tasty vapor!

Fully assembled.

The gold KFL+ is amazing!!

I pass the wick through the elevated leg then wrap it around the side with the lower leg for both ends of wick. It completely covers the outside of the coil, then down the walls to the deck leaving the channels clearly exposed.

The cotton is fairly loose when being fed through the side with the high leg. Essentially it is the same method rip trippers uses in his video, except I don't use the 2nd piece he uses, did nothing in my build (tried it the 2nd time). No flooding issues, I guess it is wicking enough but not too much
