after a year vaping i should probably have come to automatically realise this.
dry hits, lack of vapour production, gargling, "wet hits" (anyone else experience these? not read anything really about them... it's not a burst of leaked ejuice (which you can feel burn on your tongue) but a feeling of inhaling not vapour but tiny particles of ejuice that feel like they go directly into your lungs... don't really know how to explain it!), general underperformance from a once decent set up.
often i just resort to changing the atty coil/head for a new one because i find cleaning everything tedious.
but take minutes to clean EVERYTHING and it works wonders in breathing new life into your gear. and i meand EVERYTHING... and what i've found is ESPECIALLY the air-holes.
currently vaping on a protank mini II with an aspire VV battery. you can clean these things and think you've done a thorough job but check those air holes. sometimes they're so gunked up that a quick rinse under the tap won't clear it. make sure that airhole is fully clear. i use a safety pin the push the gunk out and then use the steam wand from the coffee machine at work to blow everything away. works wonders.
