So, finally the husband (peeking around to see if he's in here ) is full on the vape train and off the cigs for two weeks. In the past 8 months, he's been through egos, grippers, an evic, and much of the assorted tank-clearomizer stuff. He didn't like any of them for consistency. So he tried my Old Goat. Liked it! Used it for a couple weeks, then ordered a different bottom feeder. Had to send it back in already. So while it's gone, he was essentially vapeless. I, being the good wife, let him use my VVGrand and made do with my minis. So I've been grandless and reomizerless for almost a week now.

Today, he ordered a Grand! I told him he needs something reliable. :p
This is from the guy who insisted when I got my first Reo he didn't want a "box" thing. Some folks ya just gotta drag 'em kicking and screaming to the light.

Along with the grand and his button cover, I also ordered another RM2 for me. It was hard not to get another Reo for me too, but I'm holding out for the next edition. ;)

I think I'm more excited than he is, though. I can't wait to get my purple and black baby back!

I had to make the journey up the vaping device chain myself.
Glad your getting your Grand back and your hubby is getting one.
Some day I hope to find a partner that would care so much, to even give up her Grand for me.
Maybe I would do the same for her.

No I wouldn't, but it did kinda sound sweet for a minute didn't it ?

I hope you didn't say "I told you so!"

I don't think I did. I know I wanted to. But I have noticed my tongue hurts. Possibly from biting it? :p

Ha! I did have a motive behind my sacrifice, though. It worked! Now he will have something reliable and not have to be angry and disappointed or go back to cigs.

bahahahaha... hubs wants 1 too now, he hasn't exactly said as much but we've talked about it and he stopped saying no he's fine with his ego's. Even said a guy he works with would probably buy all of his ego stuff... hahahaha He even offers to help rebuild my atty and I'm like that's ok, I can do it. He used to ..... and moan about having to change my carto's for me, said they were a PIA but likes rebuilding this? lol He cracks me up!! I am soooo hoping a woodie comes out by November as I'd really like to get him 1 for his birthday as a surprise!! Hey btw does Rob offer Layaway? lol

if HRH ruins her mini then too bad - it's back to her eVic and a display that reminds her how crap the vape is! 'But Trunky you have a grand and a vvg just sat there"

They are not just sat there - they are recuperating so that i can use them at my leisure because i plan for the failure of a device and you don't! Just to be especially mean, i'd give her the vv, just because there might be something erotic about her having to use both hands - nm!

I suspect the chances of getting a wooden Reo unless you are very lucky on the classifieds is the same as mine of giving birth! Otherwise, grease up someone that has a load and might sell you one.

My point it this: HRH disliked box mods but is now inseparable from her mini -it fits her hand and she likes the finish on it. She'd point blank refuse to lend it to me.

Thinking back over my vaping/quitting experience I can't imagine what it would be like without a good bottom feeder and the maker who will do anything to keep customers satisfied. Whenever I show people how vaping works and the steps they will go through, I always tell them that a Reo is unavoidable if they want to sustain their goal of quitting cigarettes. I guess some like the tank thing but it has never worked for me.

I think I tried about any tank that was made. ALL of them left me with dry hits. It was hard to even try to find a juice that would be acceptable to me let alone use it to give up cigarettes. Now, I find (with the bottom feeder) that the ones that were acceptable with a tank have little or no flavor on a bottom feed. So much for the spread sheet I made that listed all that I tried and the results of the trial. :(

The problem with tanks in my humble opinion is that they cooked your juice all day and the bit at the bottom looked like the scrapings from a pizza hut oven. And i tried them all, if i found one that didn't leak, then you'd need to be a surgeon to refill it.

No - you need more holes in it - ok, buy hole puncher, no fewer, ok superglue holes closed. Still the same.

'what shall i buy?' "how much money do you have?"

Let's face it if you turn white at $80 but happily spend $55 a week on cigarettes, then you go and figure it out alone.
The upfront costs of vaping are high is all - batteries - charger - mod. But then it's all gravy.

I think i am turning American - how worrying!
