E-juice Flavor loss - evil.
Clogged Atomizers - evil.
Going through 20 paper napkins per day blowing out carts+atties - evil.
Every kind of cart mod - just to make up for the evil stupid cart design - evil
High-voltage results in flavor loss - evil.
Low lifetime on "gadget" e-cig batteries - evil.

Screw it. Can't solve everything but: Box mod. + standard batteries + standard charger + drip tip. Maybe gonna buy a usa made custom e-cig that uses regular batteries (14500 or 18650). Mix juice in small quantities every morning.

Lol.. Venting over. I feel better now.....

Anyone else sick of this crap, or is it just me being a noob?

*Edit*
P.S. Still better than smoking! :D

We have all been there. Hang in there friend! my personal solution to all that stuff was using cartomizers. Started with blank 510 cartomizers, then went kr808 for the feel of a decent automatic battery. Although high voltage means lots of good vapor, so does a good juice. Tried any of V4L's Wow vapor juice? or some good vg juice like TopVapor? Good juice and dependable cartomizers can take away your pains. Good luck!

AttyPops, thanks so much for the humorous post, I can barely type remembering the old days. Fortunately everything becomes second nature after a while, I have even got my attypops less frequent. It actually becomes an adventure to find the PERFECT VAPE Keep laughing and enjoy the journey.;)

E-juice Flavor loss - evil.
I stick to 26mg Caramel from cignot... Never any change in flavor, etc.
Clogged Atomizers - evil.
I drip, so never an issue.
Going through 20 paper napkins per day blowing out carts+atties - evil.
Once every 6 months or so. I just replace it at that point.
Every kind of cart mod - just to make up for the evil stupid cart design - evil
Same as previous.
High-voltage results in flavor loss - evil.
I stick with the Ego/Riva, and I think my juice is plenty strong, but I'm still really tempted to try.
Low lifetime on "gadget" e-cig batteries - evil.
Never had one die, and I have 2, so one's always on the charger while the other one is being used. About 6-8 hours per charge?

I've been tempted to go there as well, but expensive.

Once you find the sweet spot with hardware and get into the routine, the frustration just goes away.

Thanks everyone for the great replies!

forthwith: Haven't tried V4L yet... have FSUSA, DIYFlavorShack, OneStopDIYShop, others. Good juices. It's just me and flooding atties and cooking the juice I guess. Thx for the rah-rah.

Whiskey (hot avatar btw) Yes it is worth it!

<snip>... I have even got my attypops less frequent. It actually becomes an adventure to find the PERFECT VAPE Keep laughing and enjoy the journey.;)
LOL. So I see.
<Snip>.. but expensive.
FYI - Boxmod is about $10.00. I do use em. Work well. (Don't get me going on mods...esp. the switches.)

the_antisheep: Thanks for all that work/info! Will check some of this out.

rosesense: Agreed! Thanks!

Just sometimes the futz-factor get annoying. Thanks again everyone for the support.

The pros far outweigh the cons imho. I just switched to dripping to get away the hassles of carts. For long drives etc, where I'd rather not drip and drive, i've got my carts filled with larger celled fluval instead of the blue foam. If the juice is thinner, I use blue foam. Problem solved and no messy or clogged atty/cart situations.

I am not getting what the frustration is about on even some of the most commercial products. Some of them like the still viable Super Mini (used on commercial e-cig sellers like SE and Greensmoke) deliver great throat hit and vapor. I am a happy guy with just my DSE901 and SuperMini, tried a few others and settled on these. I use bluefoam card mods, other than that no other modding seems necessary. As long as I walk around with replacement batts and carts I can go all day and was a 15-cig-a-day smoker. Try different juice, keep it up at 26mg or higher, stop it with all the gratuitous flavors and get some serious 26mg Marbrow or Flue-Cured, keep those carts wet (or drip). Most ppl I know who had atomizers die have let their carts go too dry. Never had a single SuperMini atomizer die yet, and only 1 DSE901 died, and been vaping since Nov 09. Only had 2 batts die also the whole time. I was a pretty hardcore smoker too, and these 2 models seem to be all I need. But what can I say, diff strokes for diff... and all that.

Haven't vaped in a year due to the frustrations. I got a 5v 510 passthrough the other day, some crazy strong tasting menthol 18mg liquid and some drip tips. To top it off the company sent me a low resistance atomiser by mistake, seems to work fine though.

Honestly, the vapour production and throat hit I'm getting from this is nearly blowing my head off. I had a cigarette earlier and it was actually a disappointment. :D

I can't imagine now why anybody would vape anything other than a passthrough while at home, this thing fills the room with fog every drag, every time. A couple of drips every few minutes is no more hassle than lighting up.
