Dave,
As far as the sales go, I could see V4L experiencing some issues with buyer hesitation. The frequency of sales over the last month and a half that I have been monitoring this forum (as a new vaper and pleased V4L customer) has been tremendous. Nothing against your marketing strategies but your going to end up with customers that won't
buy until a sale is ran if your not already experiencing it. It's textbook supply and demand....sales are generally used as a marketing technique to increase sales when demand decreases thus creating an increased stock on hand. A better strategy that will lead to more long term success is to reduce the number of sales significantly and lowering your everyday web prices. By offering a lower everyday price you can gain competitive advantage. Typical business stuff...
It is great to see that you all are so involved in the forums and with your customers, that is something you don't see in a lot of companies and markets. It makes us all feel as if we are part of the V4L family and loyalties are obtained from this!
Other recommendations: The website could use a little work with the interface. The overall design is very nice and you have some very attractive logo's and artwork. I am thoroughly happy with your company as a consumer, however the constant discounts ranging anywhere up to 30% really make me consider that $9.95 for a box of 5 carts is severly overpriced (as I am sure they only cost pennies
through your supply chain, minus duties and taxes) if your capable to offer these discounts so frequently. Not to mention that is very disappointing when I know there is a discount out there and I JUST miss the discount by a few hours or days. Quality control is another area I would focus on, because I have noticed some definite inconsistancy in the carts. Very few of them havent worked at all but many others have greatly varied in regards to usage lifespan.
Asking customers for feedback is outstanding and these folks are giving some great ideas! A LOT of opportunity here for your company to meet the needs of your customers in an 'above and beyond' kind of way. Great to see!
Didnt mean to go all business major on you, some 101 elements just happened to come on out as my fingers did the typing. Can you PM me? I have something I would like to pitch to your company and I think I have something great to offer. Thanks!
Very Respectfully,
Garry
