Rewicked and coiled down to .8 ohms. My provari was being a jerk about giving me a resistance reading. I got a multimeter but its terrible about measuring anything but voltage. I'll have to invest in a better ohm reader.

I have a few DMM. The Fieldpiece was in the $200 range but does not do well in the 1 ohm range; has no zero feature. The $1.99 HF DMM does ok some days if hold tongue right. The $5 black friday (aprox 2007) craftsman is the best because it always meters 0.2 ohms when touch probes. Auto zero DMM would be nice but likely pricey. I miss my analog multimeter w/ zero ohm adjust.

So after using my Aqua when I pick up my Taifun GT it fells like well kind of tight.
I have one of those ohm checker boxes, besides the 510 it has a 901. I have a couple 901's around, I'm thinking to put a couple of leads onto a 901 atty base and use it like a regular meter as well, probably have to get the reading of the probes and subtract like on my VOM.
I have seen where one member mounted a 510 socket on his meter, that was cool.

I finally got around to added a couple more air intake holes on the opposite side as the factory ones. all four are 1/16", enlarged the channels in the insulator inside the base. The air holes at the coils are now 3/32" and all for juice channels are bigger.
It is now vaping like a big holed dc dripper. Big air.
0.35 Ω, 26 gauge nichrome, 1.5mm ID, CVS cotton ball wick.

What did you use to enlarge the channels in the insulator? Don't want to tear it up:unsure:

I just got mine today!
working really great then I hear some gurgling and a bit of leakage trough the airholes read here that I needed to put it upside down and blow! didn't think on covering the airholes... it's not nice to get juice in the face, luckily it missed the eye by less than an inch (I know how that feels)
so far working great but I think I need a bit more cotton on the channels bu I'm afraid that I could choke it
by the way using cotton and the juice control fully shut

This is what I do. Maybe it will work for you, maybe it won't. I do not get any leaking or flooding at this point. And I never get dry hits. (I've gotten pretty good at guessing when the tank's getting low just from how it hits.)

My coils are basically mini coils. .093" inner diameter - tight wound. Coils touching. (dual - .8ohm) They are just under a coil's width above the airhole. My wick is boiled cotton ball cotton. I roll out the cotton ball like a hay bail, and use sharp scissors to cut along the fiber's so it stays neat. I cut one strip about 1/3" wide and roll it as tight as I can. Feed it through the coil, and have just the tip of the cotton end touching the floor of the juice channel. Lay out the other end and cut similar if not just a hair shorter. Balance out the length. Loosely pack into channels to clear threads. The amount of cotton should NOT be dense at this point going into the channels. Soak with juice. Install chamber. Install body / air tube shut. Start top cap until o-ring just touches the body. Invert. Wind the body out opening air while tightening top cap. Give juice control a half turn open. Close to about 1/3 turn open. Vape until empty.

Repeat...

Are any / many running the Aqua with VV / VW at 2 to 3 Ohms?

I can only speak for me but i doubt it. I started in the .6 range, went all the way up to 1.1 and it was a garbage vape so I've been creeping back down to around a half ohm I like it best. If you do try it though, let us know how it vapes

I may have went a little overboard with mine.
I drilled 2 holes on the other side of my FT BB version.
But then decided to make them all 3/32" with a 5/64" bevel (so they look a little bigger than they are).
I opened the airchannels in the delrin with the same 3/32" drill bit.
Then did the same with the deck holes.
I didn't touch the wick channels.
Wide open is crazy. Good thing I can reduce the airflow.
The wicking seems to be keeping up, not sure about continuous chain vaping.
I can only take 4-5 monster hits in a row before I fall out of my chair anyhow.
I'm at 0.4 ohm dual 26awg 2mm id.
Forgot to take pics of the delrin.
But I drilled straight down from where the channel stops at the top and leveled it with the start point of the channel at the bottom on the outer edge.

So far I have drilled 2 holes on the other side to make mine 1/16 and opened up the deck holes to 3/32. Haven't touched the delrin yet, but it already vapes better. I'm taking baby steps...lol.
All four air holes at 3/32 must be crazy!!!

At 0.35 ohms I think I'm maxed out on the heat unless I get some more air going. I thinking to open the channels in the insulator some more next.
Two 1/16" holes has the same restriction as one 3/32" hole so they should be OK as long as there's no added restriction between the in and the out. I"ll go after the intake holes if need be.
I want to see if it can wick fast enough for 0.2 ohms.

yeah, the quad 3/32" air holes are probably unnecessary. So, far I like running them halfway closed - virtually 1/16" each. haha.
It does still increase airflow wide open though, if I take a really hard lung hit, it will start sucking the juice right off
the wicks and into my mouth. It gurgles a little every now and then. I'm gonna have to try some different builds on it.

1/8" on the deck maybe or close to it perhaps.
It's wicking good if your able to suck juice, need to find the middle ground.

As hard as I tried I can't get mine to spit at me and I really tried hard. LOL

After using my Aqua and going back to my TGT the TGT feels like trying to take a drag off a pencil.
