Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
Brand new black provari mini starter kit. I order a tank, ring and cartos from other sources but those haven't arrived yet so I hooked up the protank and I'm about to try to learn how to use this thing. Guess I coulda been more specific with my post.
This isn't the first "It's here" post and I'm pretty sure we can guess what "it" is....lol

The dripper read out at .8 ohms. Didn't think that was acceptable on the provari. Also did I do something wrong with the pt2? It doesn't taste anything like my juice did even in a clearomizer. Like burnt plastic

Clean it out really well and throw a new coil in there. Might solve your problem.

Yeah the .8 is a tad low for the Provari.

The Provari will fire that .8ohm coil. But, not over 2.9 since it excedes the amp limit of the device. Rebuild it and get it above 1.3 and you'll be fine.
What you describe with the PT2 is typical. Especially if your juice is more than 40% VG. There are 2 wicks laying loose across the coil. Remove one. Give it time to get wet and give it a try. If it doesn't keep up, pull the other loose wick.(there are several tutorials on youtube about doing this.)

It's all brand new right out of the box. I'm hoping it's just the breakin period

Quality Control on pre-made coils leaves a lot to be desired (one can taste just fine and the next, not so much). If it tastes like your third point of contact after a few pulls, it's probably going to keep tasting like it. Protank heads are easy to rebuild and I'm guessing that you probably built the coil in your dripper, so you should have no problem whipping up a new coil that should work better than anything you can get from replacement heads.

A place some call paradise
You guys give me too much credit assuming that I could rebuild something. I went to the kiosk and they sold me a k100 with a dripper. Quickly beat that one to death and now I'm a proud provari owner. I'm not ready to show her off yet as I know that there are much nicer things on there way that just aren't here yet.
She is however exactly as she was described.
I'm gonna have to do some major YouTube research in order to learn how to rebuild this dripper but now that I know I can raise the ohms I'm stoked. Glad to know I won't have to buy a new dripper.
So to recap I am a complete and utter noob but I am already in love with the provari. It's exactly as it was billed to me when I was talked into it. I got the mini cause I wanted it to still be small and it's the perfect size.
Currently the pt2 doesn't taste like a bag of you know what's, so I'm tolerating.

I have no idea what my juice is made of. I buy it from the volcano kiosk at the mall.
I stumbled across the cherryvapes website today and am considering giving an order there way as an attempt to find a new source. I know that everyone has there own preferences and I personally prefer the fruit flavors so who's the hand down best supplier?
