None of those options work for me. I get a flutter when I see Out for Delivery. And then I wonder will it come just before I come home from work or 2 hours after. Should I stop at the grocery store or go straight home and sniff my juice? If I do stop at the store and the mail has come, will it be stolen? What if it was delivered to the wrong house? For me, Out for Delivery is Hand-Wringing.

I ordered some stuff last week, and really thought it would come today; when I saw the mailman just stick some papers into the box, I wanted to go out and carjack the mail truck, so I could search it and MAKE SURE he really didn't have any pkgs for me. Luckily I suppressed the urge. :)

Am I the only one who goes on USPS.com, sees the slider thing on "In Transit", and tries to drag it to the right?

    maybe.......

Okay! You got me. I confess. I run from the computer to the front door checking to see if the mail lady has come by. Then I'll run up the driveway to intercept her.

I just open the blinds in my kitchen window, which looks out the driveway to the mailbox, and just stand there and watch, as soon as I hear that very distinctive mailtruck sound... usually I can tell if he puts in a package, but not always, if it's small -- he's quick! He damn well better be quick on Tuesday! Yeah, another ECVD sufferer here... :w00t:

You've confused me.. if not "leave"... what???

And BTW, is your avatar "The Gunslinger" (Dark Tower) ?

Trees come mainly in WHAT material, Andria? The answer to my question should clear up your confusion.

As for your 2nd question, yes, that is indeed be Roland Deschain. Are you a fan?

    Tap, Tap, Tap.... Talk.

    *Snicker*

I am such a slavering fan that I hope they never do make that movie, because no one they cast as Roland would be good enough, IMO, unless they managed to get Daniel Craig to play him; he has the most perfect face (homely) and eyes (1000-yard stare, "bombadier eyes") to play Roland, I can't believe I'm the only one who's thought of him. Also I thought he acquitted himself well in the rather-ridiculous "Cowboys and Aliens". I'm a massive King fan anyway, but that is his Magnum Opus. Have you read 11/22/63? At one point there is a mention of FBI agents taking a great interest in Oswald, pre-11/22/63, and one of the agents mentioned is named "Fain".. either Richard or Robert, I can't quite remember the first name... but I'm pretty sure he's referring to Flagg, the "Walkin' Dude".... my son is out of state right now so it's hard to have a book discussion with him, but I think he would probably concur... I think the destruction that the protagonist is creating in 11/22/63 by changing the past is analogous to those "places between", the "todash" journeys, and I think this guy Flagg/Fain/Walkin' Dude has used that temporal anomaly to weasel around in time... Just my opinion, of course... Just recently I *finally* got thru the waiting list at my library to get "Dr Sleep".... yet another excellent read from Mr. King...
