The one thing all diabetic's will hear from their doctor is that their sugar is getting worse!
Yep it seems all the liquids for our e-cigs contain sugar.
I asked around and this seems to be the case with all liquids, for some reason the makers haven't taken us into account.

I'm not sure about you but I would rather take my chances with cigarettes then to cut my life short with diabeties.
I take the pills right now but the doctor is talking about putting me on insulin because my sugar is getting to high.
What was 150 and lower is now in the 200's and 300's so I will put away all my stuff ( what a huge waste $$$ ) I have a lot of it, kits and juice, pipes and e-cigs and I have dug my cigs out of the closet and am once again smoking.
Cancer may never happen but diabeties can kill you for sure.

It's killing me.
I've spent over $2,000 maybe over $3,000 so far stocking up so I would have supplies when or if they ban these things.
Well I did outfit 5 of my relatives and their partners with e-cigs and liquids and they love them as well.
I love these things so I have 4 pipes, two lady pipes, 8 DSE801's , 10 DSE901's and various parts and liquids and 3 401's and an E8 and EM9 kit.
There's just to much to list and I can't use it because of sweetner's.

Any Help would be great.
Yeah I know this will probably not help posting here but I have to try.
HELP???

NoGood, Can you edit your Heading/Subject line to include "Diabetic" or "Blood Sugar"? You also may want to post in the Health section. There is alot we don't know, and I think I saw another mention of this in that area. Maybe you can get a consensus, or at least alert others to pay attention. We are our own lab rats.

Hmmm, interesting? I never knew sugar could be smoked, let alone I have been smoking it???!!

Have we really been smoking sugar?

All I could say is that when I eat sugar I get a massive rush!!! When I smoke e-cigs I get very calm and mellow, so why the contrast? The nicotine perhaps over-powering the sugar? Or would sugar even act the same when smoked?

If true I wonder how much sugar these e-liquid manufacturers are putting in there liquids?

Either way, I'd rather smoke sugar then tar and all the toxic crap found in analogs! ;)

I can't remember sugar being mentioned as being a component of the vapour in any of the lab tests.

Yep you should ask them because they said it's even in the tabacco flavors.

I really want to get back to my E-pipe but I need the unsweetened liquid.
I really don't want to have to use insulin if I can remain on the pills.

I just had a thought, maybe it's just another population control thing.
He he

In another article I found.....

Vegetable Glyceine
Vegetable glycerine comes to us through a very complex and sophisticated method of extraction known as Hydrolysis, and the end product that we refer to as "Vegetable Glycerine" is usually the by-product of another oils production. The basics of this system is that the fats and oils of a raw ingredient (usually palm or coconut oils) are split into crude glycerol fats, under the combined action of water, temperature and pressure. These temperatures can exceed 400° degrees and the material is usually kept under pressure for 20-30 minutes. What is actually occurring is a sort of "counter-flow" where the water absorbs glycerol from the fatty acid phase of the oil production. After this phase this glycerol is isolated and further distilled to give buyers a standard 99% Glycerine product.
Vegetable Glycerine is a clear, colorless, and odorless liquid with an incredibly sweet taste having the consistency of thick syrup. It is used as an agent in cosmetics, toothpaste, shampoos, soaps, herbal remedies, pharmaceuticals, and other household items. Because it is soluble in both, water and alcohol, its versatility is a major benefactor in its purported growth and popularity within the manufacturing sector. It is invaluable as a natural source ingredient with emollient like properties which can soften and soothe the skin and it assists the outer epidermis is retaining moisture. This helps to explain why it is one of the most popular cosmetic additives used today.
Other uses include its solvency action which aides herbalists in extracting botanical properties from plant materials without the use of alcohol. This is especially helpful for those with alcohol sensitivities as most liquid herbal extracts contain alcohol. But given its severely limited shelf life, extracts made from Vegetable Glycerine typically have a shelf life of 14-24 months whereas alcohol extracts can have an extended shelf life of 4-6 years.

Vegetable Glycerine

Vegetable Glycerine has a rich oily texture, but is water soluble. Because it is derived entirely from vegetable oil and pure, it is hypoallergenic and safe for food and cosmetic purposes.

Glycerine is often used in low "net carb" products to retain moisture and sweetness. Glycerine is commonly used for this purpose in most protein bars so that the bars stay moist and chewy.

Although glycerine is a carbohydrate, it has a different metabolic effect on the body. Unlike typical carbohydrates, glycerine reportedly has minimal impact on blood sugar levels. You should still count the calories (4.3 calories per gram) you are consuming from this product, since even a low carbohydrate diet needs some calorie control, but you do not need to worry about disrupting ketosis because there is no evidence that glycerine effects either insulin or blood sugar, which is the way that normal carbohydrates disrupt ketosis.

The data I have seen on PG or VG suggests that it does not interfere with blood sugar levels.
Do some Google on them both, there's a lot of info out there. There are some people though suffering with other maladys that cannot tolerate the lactic acid build-up with PG. MS is one, another would be Lupas, and any other disease auto-immune related.
