My EVOD bottom coil clearomizer is leaking right near the window at the bottom.. any advice?:(

EVOD Bottom Coil Clearomizers
What type of juice are you using??
Strong/acidic juices tend to "leech" around plastic clearo seals....That's why many prefer GLASS tanks....
Make sure you're not tightening the coil/bottom assembly too much after filling: it really only needs to be "finger-tight" -- TOO tight, and you're compressing/distorting the o-ring seal, causing a leak....
Ditto when attaching the clearo to the battery....just "finger-tight" should do it!
HTH!!
Happy (vaping) Trails!

Say a few words over it and toss it in the parts box. Grab another one.........you did get more than one didn't you? and Vape on.

Seriously - have you checked the larger seal o-ring on the base?
Did you try shining a flash light inside to check for a crack?

It will not stop leaking on the battery unless you can get it sealed again. Pressured plays a key role in function.

Yup. Green apple is one of those flavors. I know it's only the window - but it's still plastic. You can research the plastics killer matter here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clearomizers/219179-lets-make-list-juices-flavors-crack-tanks-ce2s-clearos.html

The gurgling/leaking is a separate issue. Did you remove those 2 top wicks above the coil? It's usually a bad idea and can cause more problems than it fixes. Remove the vent tube from the coil assembly and check. If the wick is missing or insufficient you can replace it or add to it with some mCGyver magic and a little bit of cheesecloth rolled up and put in there.

If you need to buy a replacement, don't buy it from there! That's way too expensive for an Evod.
Wow you ain't kidding they're even higher than my local BM's. For the OP silicon and changing the head might get you through until you can buy some more but you're gonna need a glass tank for some juices look around and look for the best price on a protank that evod's destined for the garbage can .

I can see the crack!! Dang.. lesson learned.

Yep, I had an Evod explode on me this week.
Well to be fair, it was a knockoff evod.

Put some honeysuckle juice in it at night and the next morning it was in 3 totally separate pieces!
I wouldn't have guessed that would crack a tank, but lesson learned here too.

I'm going to be moving to all glass for the most part.

Get some replacement heads while you're there. If your Evod is on a fixed voltage, standard Ego system, you'll want the 1.8 ohm heads. I love the Evod and have a bunch of'em. My only beef is that on small Ego type batteries, the 2.5 ohm coils they ship with just don't do as well.

You'll get better vapor and flavor with lower resistance coils.
