Hey ECF,

I got my girlfriend a Spinner and an EVOD vaping 100% VG Vaporphoxxe Strawberry Fields. It is leaking from the bottom of the EVOD and it is gurgling and e-liquid is coming through the drip tip. She's hasn't over tightened the EVOD to the Spinner and its only 2 days old. Can anyone offer some insight as to possible reasons for the leak or gurgle?

Have you opened up the head and investigated what you had for flavor wicks and how they were arranged?

100% vg is usually pretty thick, normally the problem is too little liquid as opposed to too much.

Its entirely possible the flavor wicks are not there, or placed improperly allowing too much wicking to happen.

Also, double check the white o-ring on the base of the evod head to make sure its properly seated.

It may seem counter intuitive, but when my t3s gurgle I take it apart, clear the juice, and then when I put it back together, i tighten just until it stops turning, and then back it off about a quarter turn. Then attach it to your device. If you over tighten, it causes pressure that forces juice into the mouth piece. Good luck!

First thing to check is that your coil head is tightened. If it's not screwed firmly (but not overly tight!) into the base, the EVOD will leak like a sieve. Next you can check that all your o-rings are intact. There are 2 on the EVOD base. Make sure they're there and aren't damaged. If they're both there and don't seem damaged I would try turning to a higher voltage on the spinner. At lower voltages with thick juice your wicks may be saturated with too much liquid for the coil to burn. Higher power may help. Try 4.2 volts or 4.5 volts. It will affect the flavor, but might solve your problem.

If none of the above help, try replacing the coil head.

If none of that works, replace the base! discountvapers.com sells the bases by themselves, for somewhere around $1.45 if I recall. I ordered a handful a few weeks ago and keep them around just in case.

Hope this helps!
