It's like pouring nicotine on an open wound!

Last night, while mixing a new batch of liquid, I was distributing my 60mg VG base in a bottle and a small, and I mean small, drop dripped off the syringe and right on to a small cut I got on my hand earlier in the week. Just a few short moments later, I got warm and my heart rate increased quite high. I had to sit down and it passed quickly, but there was a moment of "why did I do that?"

Everyone always warns to wear gloves, but cocky me said "I don't need gloves. I'll be fine." I purchased latex gloves today for that purpose.

Anyone else ever experience this?

I don't wear gloves when I mix, but if I had a wound near the mixing station I'd either put a glove on or at least bandage the wound. Glad you're ok man, concentrated nicotine entering the bloodstream directly is a huge no-no.

Again, I would once again like to strongly urge any noobs who purchased at 100mg/ml to down-mix all stock to under 50 mg/ml carefully follow all precaution including ventilation. Some have requisite skills and caution -- while others are caviler or simply uniformed. Glad you're okay.

I'm very careful even though I only use 60mg nic. I have gloves in case I would ever have a cut on my hands, but haven't used them yet. Glad you're okay dude! Lesson learned eh?
