Ok, I went 24 hours without even looking at a analog... then my batttery died. During the 5 hour charge cycle I smoked again. So I think I need backup parts.... :D *any excuse to spend money on myself* Im so good to me. LOL Anyways I'm was thinking of just picking up 1 more ego 1100mah, maybe a twist as well. Also any thoughts on the new Kanger Protank III? I can get authentic one for only 14 bucks delivered.

You always need a second, or third, or forth, Battery and some extra clearos.

Then we have Authentic/Genuine and what people call Authentic/Genuine (Which Aren't)

Like with anything else if the Deal is to good to be true then it ISN'T true. I've found that out First Hand. Bought a Aspire Nautilus that was stated to be Genuine. Turns out it wasn't. All the seller had to do was check the security code from one of the boxes he was selling and he would of found out they were fake. Which I truly think he knew they were fake.

You knew exactly what you were doing when you bought only one battery. You were setting yourself up to be able to justify smoking real cigarettes. Hey the battery is dead and needs to be recharged. SO I can smoke a real Cig.

Stop fooling yourself. Either go Vaping or not and continue to smoke. That means having extra Batteries, Atomizers and Juice. Or just stick that stuff in a Draw and buy a carton of smokes.

From the first day I started with a e-cig I ordered more stuff so I wouldn't run out (and have continued to do that. But that is another problem). Sure I still smoked for a short time but cut down from 10 packs every 8-9 days to one pack a week. Then shortly after that I went to bumming one or 2 smokes a week when someone would come buy that smoked. Now No smokes. I was offered one the other day and said No thanks. She even smoked in front of me and it didn't bother me or make me feel like having one. Worked with someone yesterday that smokes that I had bummed cigs from. Never even came into my head to ask for one.

That is because "I" wanted to quit smoking, for real. Not for anyone else or because I knew it is bad for me. It is a decision I made and Vaping has helped me do that.

I have 4 batteries. Two vision spinner 1300mah and the 2 kanger evod 650mah from my starter kit plus a few extra tanks (inexpensive evods/mini protanks) and a second charger. I use it all. The Evods stay chatged and filled in the carrying case for backup/grab and go, one spinner is usually on its lanyard and in use while the other charges. I've never been without something to vape (as long as I remember to throw the case in my purse...lol)

I also have several batteries. My two favorite are the variable voltage so I can dial my flavors in just right. My variables are the ego c twist and the vision spinner. I highly recommend the vision spinner 1300 mah battery. The variable voltage dial is much better than the twists and it vapes really well. Also the 1300 mah battery lasts into the next day with heavy vaping where the twist 1000 mah does not. They both are good devices but if you like the ego style I'd go for the twist. You won't be sorry! My vape store has very fast shipping and sells the twist for 26 dollars for the 1300mah. The compatible joyetech charger is 6 dollars so for 32 dollars you would be all set. I love the way the twist feels in my hand. It's rubberized handle is very nice. It does a great job! Check it out online and see what you think.

Sounds to me like someone is a little testy, and wants to preach. I did not set myself up for failure so I could smoke. Great for you that you had the cash to order a ton of stuff up front, not everyone in the same position. I had a budget I had to stay under, doesn't mean I did this on purpose so i could smoke.

It is fine to start with one of everything if you are still smoking. That way you can prove to yourself (and your subconscious) that an e-cig will provide the nicotine you need.

But as soon as you decide to stop smoking, you need plenty of backup equipment. You cannot afford for your backup to be a cigarette, no matter what unlikely disaster befalls you.

It won't do the battery too much harm (or maybe any harm) to be taken out of charge for a few minutes for a quick emergency vape.

Be aware that Protank 3 is a duel coil so will zap your battery even fast than the single coil tanks. If it looks like your going to spend $40 or so then go for one of the MPV 2 that are being sold off very cheap at the moment. 101vape.com selling them for under $40 they come with everything included, tank as well. the charge it holds can last up to 2 days but you can charge at night while you sleep. Youll like the added features you get over a twist as well. At its new price point this is going to be the new next step-up from an eGo/EVOD.

Hear ya on the budget! I started vaping to save money when I was laid off. Thankfully I ended up choosing a starter kit that was a set of two, since I couldn't add to it for a couple months. I can't imagine trying to tough it out with only one battery.

101 Vapes, Discount Vapers and Vaping Me are all sites I've dealt with that have low prices and quick service. DV sells their brand eGo/Twist for cheap if you just want a backup and while I've never had one I have a neighbor who uses nothing else and swears by them (take that with whatever grain of salt you like). I do have one of their chargers and IMO it works faster and better than the one by Kanger. YMMV :)

Vaping Me has only brand name authentic Kanger, Aspire, Innotek and Vision, no clones. "ECF" is the coupon code for 10% off plus you get free shipping on an order over $30. If you like the MVP2 they have an even better deal on the set (with tank) than 101 Vapes (last I checked it was about $35 out the door using the coupon) BUT Matt only takes orders for it on a first come first served basis Tuesdays starting at 3pm CDT due to demand. The week's stock runs out fast so be on your toes if you decide to go that route.

I personally stick with the protank2 and evod lines exclusively due to the long term cost and availability of coils. Anything dual coil will A. Drain your batteries faster, B. Use juice faster, and C. Replacement coils will cost more (unless you want to get into rebuilding). It also costs more long term to have several different types of coils to keep ordering than loading up on one type that works in every tank you own.

If you don't mind any of this and think it's worth it, from my experience trying different things out I actually prefer the Aspire BDC ET-S to the protank 3. I think it gives a better flavor and the metal housing protects the glass to a point, making it a bit more durable. But also heavier, and it doesn't fully disassemble for cleaning. Just my 2c. You'll probably want to try a few different things to find what's best for you.

Sorry for the novel, just some tips from another budget vaper!

Ha Ha.

I bought a Blucig rig at first. Came with 2 batteries. Not preaching, just stating facts as I have come to know them from experience in quitting substances and watching other try to quit many things.

The Id does funny things.

Now that you've taken the plunge and found that vaping works for you, it IS time to get backups. At least two of everything, battery, toppers, spare heads for them, even chargers.

I'd recommend you move to anything with at least variable voltage. The ability to adjust the vape on the fly becomes more important as you change coils or toppers. Or flavors. They don't all taste "best" as the same settings.

I agree, the Spinner dial is a lot easier to see than the Twists. Have both, and both are good products, generally. (Of course, there's the rare lemon in the bunch.) The MVP2 is also a fine choice, no question about that to me. But it's a different shape which may or may not be a issue for you. (Have an MVP1.5 that's a real work horse. They are smaller and lighter than the online pics suggest, only about the size of a pack of cigs.)

And congrats on the switch! While it can take a bit of time (and $$) to sort out the hardware and flavors you want, once set up the costs can (if you can avoid G.A.S, aka Gear Acquisition Syndrome) be a lot less than cigs.

With an eGo-sized battery, I would go for a smaller tank. I love my protank 2 mini, I haven't had any troubles with it since I got it. It is the most reliable tank I've tried.

Always have a back-up battery or two. (Today I have six ;) ) But I started out with one, which didn't last that long(eGo 650mah). I just picked up a couple of vision spinner v2 (1600mah), which works excellent. I would also recommend an itaste vv, which is a good battery even though it does not last long.

Good luck to you!

Update. Ordered a second setup kit, same 1100mah ego twist this one with a different bcc tank. I had the t3d and the coils run around 2 bucks each. Didnt know that when I ordered it. Second setup comes with kangertech t3s which the coils are only a buck each. Got it in green battery/green tank/ with 5 extra coils and extra charger and metal case for 23 bucks. And found a liquid I dont mind vaping all the time so I ordered a 1/2 ounce bottle of that too. This will be all my ordering for this month. My plan is to order a newer mod with vv, and get some good batteries, and Mini Protank III for long term.
