If it's a matter of attempting to make them more disposable, they are doing it wrong. After the v2 stone with its bad wicking/flooding/leaking, the cyclones that arrived leaking (one leaked its entire contents within an hour without even being screwed on to a battery), and the new "improved" stardusts that either arrived with cracks or started cracking soon after being used... I have to say, I am not inspired to spend money on replacements or be a tester for updated versions of these products :-(

I love my stardust and I'm going to be really sad when one of the cracks become large enough to make it leak, which probably won't take much longer at the rate it's going. But I probably won't buy another until there's a version that isn't so faulty. I wish I hadn't missed out on the originals. I realize that they don't cost a lot, but I just can't justify buying something that is so unreliable. I'm happy for the people that are happy with the ones that are as advertised. I will just be sticking with these stellar vision extremes and the one fluxo that survived my clumsy attempts to mod it. At least until a version of these or the stones come out that get better reviews.

Oh, and I have a hard time believing that the manufacturer didn't know these things were cracking so much during their testing.

agreed, i'm done beta testing. I really liked the stardusts, and I didn't have the issues mentioned but the vent system was more of a nightmare then on the vision giants and stones.

i personally understand what you are saying, but someone(not me) that bought say 10 of these in that bad batch and had them all crack or whatever is not going to be appeased by that.

ok but this isnt gotvapes doing this, 7 vendors sold these, its impossible for us to check each one open them to inspect them, Once you all mention here that some have cracks we pass that info along, we undertsand that many people come here as well to look up info for the ego vision stardust but i can assure the cracking issue is a small percentage, if it was massively widespread we would know by now, the main issue is trying to resolve it so it doesnt happen in future runs, again that was a much older run and we expressed to them to check for that, look for the cause. That if we recieved 40 or 50 that might have a crack then other vendors also have some with the issue. Improving the product is important for everyone and they shown to want to do so by adding the new tube to seal it even further and to add to that they will also keep a closer eye and have told the workers to do so as well when building them.

since its not a widespread issue and seems that certain packs must of had the issue since your saying one person recieved 10 that started cracking and another 2 or 4, tells me its not spread through the whole orders and that maybe packs themselves where affected, hard for me to tell but the info has been passed along.

just to be clear, I was just talking hypothetically, i don't know anyone that received them or had them crack. i had 2 stardusts from gotvapes and neither of them cracked. one died a bit earlier than I think it should have, crap happens, the other i ended up killing using juice i knew would kill it(surprisingly it lasted a decent amount of time using that crappy juice).

i was just simply getting the point across that while making improvement is excellent, the customer that is out the money probably isn't quite so enthusiastic about it. and to be very clear so there is no misunderstanding, i'm not trying to blame gotvapes or anything like that. they are chinese made things, and they sell cheap, obviously the company can't replace everyone that doesn't work right or there would be no company.

i got some wick and coil in rob, so you and others can mess around with them if youd like

i would but i don't think i have the hands for it, i did try at one point to rewrap the coil like seen in the russian video and it was a mess. so unless its dumbed down to where my 2 year old could do, i don't think i'm going to attempt that :)
