It's pipe making time!

I got my lathe today and set it up and just found a piece of scrap pecan wood I had laying around. I started turning to get a feel for it and get used to the tools and all that jazz.

Oh My Gosh! That was so fun I don't know if there is anything more fun than this but I'll probably never find out.

The only thing I'm waiting on now is my chuck to get here then it's on like donkey kong! I'm gonna be a turning fool.

First order of business though is my e-pipe!

look at the sega mini's lots of stuff. the one from harbor freight is the same sega x2 just a different color as the rest.

What kind of lathe did you end up getting? I'm looking for a little table top lathe to set up in my garage. My dad has a shop smith that has a lathe, but I don't feel like driving out there and working in the elements if I don't have to.

I just got a little shop fox 1/3hp benchtop model. It was only 198 on amazon.
