I don't know if I'm being paranoid, or because no one want's to address it, but I'm at the point where I'm actually scared to post something negative about vendors. Yes theres a review-negative sections...But I keep hearing about all these customers getting rained on by vendors, when they come to ecf to post their gripes....dont hurt me! *holds breath in fear*f s

I always kinda felt that ecf was for the average joe, and that vendors can come here and play with us if they're nice, and have the advantage of so much of the market being in one place...but they have to play by our rules...it doesn't feel that way (correct me if I'm wrong)

My point still remains valid...even if I'm siding with mopar right?

Like I said going on 2 yrs, each quarter brings on a fresh batch. Opinions are like belly buttons, every one has one with the exception of Adam and Eve

There is a time and a place to do everything, some customers think it is their God given right to sheet on vendors. Like Dr Phil would say get real. If it wasn't for vendors sticking their neck out to help you, you would still be on the stinkies. So cut us some slack, it isn't as ROSIE as you folks make it out to be.

New folks are trying to make friends in a hostile environment (a bunch of nic addicts waiting for their next fix, or mod to come out). Stop trying so freaking hard, relax enjoy the ride. :)

nothing to do with me being a smartass , must just be the nic addicts

Maybe it's just me, but I've noticed lately, that there is a growing amout of insults being thrown out there. Being a newbie, to e-cigs & forums, I can say that I've unintentionally offended a couple of people, here & sincerely apologize for my rude remarks. However, I've learned that people can be extremely sensitive to the replys.

This is a unified community with the same goal. We are a brotherhood & sisterhood made of newbies & veterans. If someone is asking for an opinion or help, the last thing they need is a wise crack. We are all bothered with daily stress in our lives & an escape to the ECF should be a pleasant one. If you have nothing positive or constructive to add to the post than please refrain from posting.

I'm sorry for the rant but I don't like it when people & myself get flamed.

What I have noticed is that some posts turn negative because of a misunderstanding of what the person is saying in the text. You sometimes have to remember that this is a text environment and the body / facial cues are not available to sometimes get the true meaning of what some one is saying.

On many occasions a poster reads animosity in a post where none was intended. Before a fire back is made to a post - just take the time and read it again and see if there is not a different meaning or suggestion to what the writer is trying to say beyond what you first read in the post.

Some are being light hearted - some just smart ()*& (the latter should just be ignored)... Some are just trying to let a little steam off - let them vent or maybe assist them with feeling better about what is making them feel they need to vent.

Lets just redirect to the OPs intent :) We all know there are some vendor shenanigans going on and I expect even more to happen since I filtered a url for serving malware...

This isn't my first rodeo and I'm not likely to play nice with anyone that is trying to incite problems in an already beleaguered Canadian e-cg industry.

Calling Dr Phil, hello Dr Phil :D

Sorry - just felt it needed to be said. I was thinking it so I said it... There was a big one today that I watched people try to diffuse, but it was not going to work. He wanted to vent and no one was going to stop him. The post started out with a good direct question and went south from there... Happens every day...

Well being no stranger to internet forums, I have to say that ECF is the most "community oriented". I don't see a whole lot of clique's around here, and have only witnessed a few hairy threads ... by and large ECF is a nice forum to belong to, and it can never hurt to remind ppl that "kindness" is a better way :)

Do not ever fear to post anything truthful here that isn't an insult, trying to start a fight or just a big bad lie. ECF IMO is completely unbiased, has no favourites and is the only place I trust a governing body to do the right thing. I have a big mouth and it has gotten me into trouble :) a few times well ok more then a few times. Every time it has and I'm sitting on the side lines with a dunce cap on I know that I deserved it.
