Wow, talk about a derailment. More like a freakin' train wreck.

Well, on a positive note, I hope a few of the offenders stopped by & walked away with some understanding.

I've learned to be more sensitive to those that you reply to. Not everyone will interpret your thoughts the same way. Also, if you have to disagree, be nice about it, you don't need to rub it in. There is a nice way to say "no" or "I disagree" And for heavens sake, don't name vendors with rants on other peoples threads. duh!

I thank you all for your input & support on this matter. It was informative & entertaining at the same time.

Support one another & stand together. This is a union without dues.

Would I do it again? Definately. It needed to be said. There is way too many great people here who don't need to mocked by their views.

You were right to post how you feel. I don't know what I missed last night but it must have been a dilly and gotten off topic big time. I apologize if my earlier post encouraged the OP to keep striking out. In fact after seeing all those posts deleted this morning I was so embarrassed that I may have somehow encouraged it, I edited my original post so as not to show support for that kind of behavior. It seems that someone is maligning a particular vendor. I did not know that and want no part of that as I have only had positive experiences with vendors. Anyway, lots of good people here and a fantastic support group as a whole. Everyone have a sunny day!

This is just a good example of how the few can ruin things for the many, and it only takes one or two people to make it seem like there's a war going on.

It just seems like some people don't understand the concept that there's a time and a place for everything, and that "just stating fact and opinion" can look an awful lot like "trying to poison people's minds" when it's repeated over and over at every available opportunity. Especially when it's just about all that's being posted by that person.

In the end, the simplest and most democratic way to be proactive about your issues (or lack thereof) with certain vendors is to speak with your wallet, and maybe post a complaint in the appropriate venue. Then just don't give them any more of your business.

It shouldn't construed as not being able to say anything bad about a vendor by any means -- honest critique isn't against the rules. It just has its place, and a vendor's own thread, or threads that are not specifically about complaints (which is pretty well all of them except for the negative reviews frum) is not the place. Especially if it's something you feel like you have to keep going on about, because actively trying to ruin someone's business is generally frowned upon. Especially when there are bigger fish to fry right now. And while I realize one thing has nothing to do with the other, that doesn't make it any more appropriate.

Just my "fact and opinion." :D

It's so easy to be bitter when you have issues with a vendor. I've had to forcibly remove my fingers from the keyboard more than once because it just isn't worth being an ... over something petty-more or less. If the dud items I received from a particular vendor would have been worth much more I would have taken issue with them but seeing as it wasn't worth a whole lot ($10.00 items) and it wasn't the first issue I had with the vendor, although both issues were pretty minor, I have taken my business elsewhere and left it at that.
