i quit smoking analog about 4 weeks ago, thats when i picked the Blu system from walgreens. i didn't know anything about this stuff, and from searching around, it seems this was OK, but i wanted to be able to drive down the street and get supplies.

well, i was satisfied for the most part, but i couldn't drive home from work without a fully charged battery dying, say 30-45 minute drive. i called their support and they told me to mail it in, when they get them they will ship out others, about 2 weeks i should have it. that just wasn't going to work for me as i didn't want to pick up analogs in the mean time.

i started searching all over for a local shop that sold other brands, and i found modern vapor which led me to this site. i've read tons of stuff on here, and is a great place.

that day i ordered online and picked up at their unopened storefront (yes, the store isn't open yet but u can order online and still pick up from there). i ordered the 902 kit, and they threw in a pack of menthol cartomizers. once i got in my car i opened it up popped it together and took a drag. WOW what a difference i was so shocked at just how much better tasting it was. i've been to the store 3 times now over the last week i'd say getting the LUX, the XL carto's, carto's, various flavor juice, and even an order my sister placed. not to mention how helpful and knowledgeable they are.

i can't believe some of the stuff i've seen on this forum with tanks and mods and whatnot, i never imagined vaping was like this

thanks everyone, so much info here. i found another store, since my LUX broke within 24 hours, i haven't heard back from modern vapor yet, which is odd because they have been so good about that, but i also discovered cignot, and bought the ego--c kit yesterday, and already both of them are tasting burnt, the wicks are burning, i mean, less than 24 hours? so crazy, i don't think i'm doing anything wrong, there is always liquid in it, not sure maybe i just use it too frequently

It sounds like you're probably having some kind of wicking problem. I wrote earlier today about troubleshooting eGo-C wicking problems in this post. In addition to what I wrote there, try to keep your eGo mostly in a vertical position (mouthpiece up) in between vapes in order to keep the fluid in contact with the wick (I use a lanyard for that). I think the eGo-C is a good vaping system but like all vaping gear it takes a bit of getting used to and learning the little tricks that may not be intuitively obvious at first.

i chatted with vicky and she gave me a few links that showed how to fix these issues. it worked pretty well so far. you say to have it sitting mouth piece up, vicky told me to do it mouth piece down, now i'm confused. maybe it's because i put a little hole with a pin through the side of the wick and it's to prevent leaking from that?
