I haven't found it yet, but am wondering about a 5v battery for the Grand. Not that I think I need one, but would like to know the option of doing that. Not interested in stacking at 6v. I have a 5V pass through with a 3.+ Ohm tank. Not too impressed with it but do like the warmer draw. TH is not important. Oh, and I'm off to have a look and possibly order some Cisco's, maybe a 357, and some 306's based on all the other feedback I read. It's only money.

I only bought 1 Reo Grand.

Batteries & Charger have not shipped yet.

I was fortunate enough to buy a new unit from another forum member in the Classifieds. It's Black/Silver, new, never used. I'm excited! I am sure I will have to buy the wife one in her color choice before long. Unless she gets set on a mini, it will also be a Grand.

I have 4 ea. AW IMR 18650's & Pila charger on the way. I have plenty of Boge 2.0 & some 1.7 carto's on hand. I have some 510 SR atties that came with a eGo clone but do not like the draw. I prefer atty's over carto's but that may change. I also would rather not have a 306 and have to have a 306 DT as I have plenty of 510's. But I'm sure I may well go the 306 way eventually. I have also never had an atty or carto's ohm out to what they were sold as. 2.0's are 2.4-2.8, 1.7's are 2.2, and atty's are all about 2.8. Is that going to be a Reo starter problem?

Happy to be part of this group.

Your ohm differences may be that you meter, like most has problems measureing low ohms, connect your meter leads together while set for ohms to get a base reading, then subtract that from your carto and atty readings youll then have a acurate measurement.
some meters will also zero out if you hold the leads together while turning it on.

And welcome, I have found everyone here to be very helpful, just ask if you have any questions.

I was swapping leads around from 3 different meters last night and got a set down to .2. I'll use those. I have no idea why I didn't check them in the first place. I use my meters in automotive for continuity (beeeep) more than ohm measurement. I'll test them all again as I get time. With a brand new Granddaughter, it is time better spent with her. Thanks for the advice Dj Xy.

I did find a thread on 5V; http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/198476-reo-5v.html

Just keep in mind the 5v batteries are actually 4 cells stacked and shrink wrapped together .... you mentioned not wanting to stack. A lot of downside to the 5v set-up. You much better off finding the right ohm carto or atty to step up to 6v IMHO.

Well now Big hitter, that was a good thing to know. I'd agree that a 3.7 + right Ohm setup is what I am looking for. But I gotta fulfill some dumb need to see what it is that I'm not sure I'm missing. I don't think I have even vaped at 3.7 volts yet using my current ego-t. 3.2-3.4V most likely. I'm not after hard TH, just a warmer & cloud spewing vapor.

My Reo Grand arrived today in the mail from a classified purchase. Mailed Monday from North Kackalacky (if your from anywhere near the Carolina's you understand that pun) to Colorado. WOW! So there it sits waiting on batteries and a charger that haven't had a ship notice yet ( yep they were in stock), and some new AV Cisco 306LR & 510LR & even a HH .357. The AV stuff will be here Saturday. It's almost OK tho, got me some readin' & lurnin' to do.

Welcome aboard, REOnaut! Hey, you don't have to snub 306's just because of the tips - get yourself a universal tip for like 6 bucks and put your 510 tips on that. It makes the whole arrangement a little taller (see below) but if you dig on the 306 hit, it's totally worth it.

that's a 306 under all that other stuff.

There are shorter options to achieve that as well.
Here are two of mine with 510 pawn DTs on 306s Its the 306-510 adapter sold a few places.
I think mine came from digital cigzz

OK, so I will ask after looking at those two pictures of vaping porn. Longer or shorter is a preference or is a longer one better for noobs like me until we get the sqoinking (sp) down? I understand I just may get a bit of hot juice up if I'm not careful. For me that would probably be caused by 1st time use excitement!

While the universal I have does make the whole unit a lot taller, I like the extra distance between me and the 306 - they seem (to me, anyway) to spit hot juice more than the 510's I've used, and that length helps a lot. I haven't had a yuck hit with this yet. I'm on the hunt now for a shortie like big's to see if it's long enough to do the job as well.

Whoot! Whoot!

Batteries and Charger and Atomizers are showing delivery confirmation. I will pick them up at lunch and take the batteries back to work with me to charge them. I'm kind of hoping that Overready included a little info on charging. But if not, I'm sure I can either find it here somewhere or you all can guide me. I also want to keep track of what the come off and onto the charger for a bit. Is there an app for that?

4X AW IMR 18650's w/Pila charger.
