I've had my eGo C Twist for 2 days. Already gave out.

Used it, fairly lightly, for two days.
Charged it today for a few hours (3 or 4), took it off when the light was green. Gave one puff, blinked 6 times, then wouldn't work. Put it back on the charger, it blinked several times again, and now BOTH the red and green light of the charger are on at the same time.

What the fudge?!
On top of that, there is discoloration of the chrome plating around the button. It was delivered that way. And the button sticks.

It was a really good two days while it lasted. I think...

It is genuine joyetech, fredddddie. I'll hold off on naming the vendor until they respond to my email. They're a big one, but their return policy reads as if I cannot return it. If I can't, I'll be quite ticked.

Hulamoon- I've had the charger since Sunday, the same as the battery. If I plug the charger into the wall, the light constantly stays green. No blinking of the manual button, just constant green on the charger.
When I plug it into the PC, I get the same results as in the original post.

Phooeee - it doesn't sound good, especially if the PV button is sticky as well. Let us know how your customer service fares....

FYI, though you probably know this, the battery does have a manual 5 click on/off program built in. Sounds like the circuitry is a problem, so don't leave it charged when you're not about to keep an eagle eye on it....

The way you described your charger/battery situation looks exactly like what happened to one of mine this weekend. The center post on the eGo's actually float or are not fixed in place. I was having a battery issue and come to find out was that the post got pushed down too far and the fix was a gentle lift of the post. Apparently something pushed it in too far either me being overzealous or one of the carto's I swapped out. Be gentle if you trying this, I pried just a tiny bit about 4 spots around the cone, that was enough to start making contact again.

Good luck :)

:toast: Only took me an hour to put this link up, ok, maybe longer. Hope someone reads it....second page is important.

I read it, thanks for the information  good to know about the center pin and prying it up, worked for me, but I did so very carefully and a very miniscule amount, that said I think I will no longer pass-on that info, not worth a possibility of something worse happening...

Much appreciated :)

Your welcome, Uno mas
Sure, for "lack of contact", it may work for a little while, but, whats going to keep it "out"?
In over 7 months now I have No battery problems, but, Ive had "lack of contact" a couple times and was easily able to fix the problem without touching the battery.
This advice -lifting the positive pin of the battery - is given so much that we now have a serious problem of far too many people harming their batteries. Ive read here on ECF, 2 people "shorting out" their batteries, don't think either one was even aware thats what they were doing. Another person did say, after following this advice for some months, that he ruined 4 batteries from juice now getting through the "insulator".
I know this advice is on Youtube.
I know most people have good intent with this advice.
But, this is NOT the best advice.

YEP, YOUR BATTERY'S BROKEN.
If what you have described had happened to me i would automatically assume the battery had broken. Though after reading your post again i'm thinking it might be your charger. So what have we learned. Well it's either your battery or your charger thats gone .... up. Bet ya £5 it's your battery. Any takers. I'll give ya evens. I just thought of something else. You'll like this. Maybe, it's both battery and charger combined. I know it's a long shot but it is a possibility. So i'll give ya evens on a broken battery. I'll give ya 2-1 on a broken charger..........I'll give ya 5-1 on it being both charger and battery that are broken. Are there any takers. You could be quids in...........Nahh i'm only jokin !.....

My E-go battery's went kinda like you are describing. I found that if i plugged the charger in with the battery attached it wouldn't charge till i unscrewed the battery till the light went out then retightened it. Seemed to charge fine then.
